Forest Park Golf Course

My first time playing Forrest park, first time playing solo.

Was paired with a cool group, we had fun but the course is in a really rough shape. I get that it’s a public course but played can Cartland a few times this summer and it’s very well maintained in comparison.

Most tee boxes are dirt patches, greens are cracking, filled with divot holes that no one bothers to fix.

It was a last minute round, had fun, was able to swing the club and that’s all I was asking for, but manage your expectations.

The course was in decent shape, but some rougher areas. Most tee boxes were completely dirt with very little grass. The greens were recently aerated when we went. Some parts of the fairway were pretty baron grass wise. A few bunkers were in tough shape as well with lots of green growing in them.

Why ask me to review the course , when you censor my previous comments on my round at Clearview. If a course is unplayable which Cleatview is and was, fellow golfers need to know. Maybe, management will then put some effort into maintaining the course.

Terrible tee boxes and greens . Every green was either destroyed by inconsiderate players not replacing ball divots or greens were destroyed by tire marks on the green. Tee boxes were just a dirt no grass on the tee boxes . Fairways were in good condition

The greens had divots on them. Not the normal divots. Like someone was pitching from them. Tee boxes were bare dirt. The layout of the course is horrible! Greens and next tee boxes right next to

Each other. Carts had no brakes. Terrible condition for an $80+ round of golf!!! Never again!!!!

Course was in rough shape. Multiple tee boxes had no grass on them. Greens were patchy and some of the tee boxes are right next to greens, leading to multiple people almost getting hit. The course is good for the rate but even so, I’d consider nearby alternatives first.

Tee boxes had mostly dirt and littered with tees. Dirt was solid, hard to tee up in some spots

Great weather, staff is very friendly and being a Holiday surprisingly the pace of play was very good. Had a fun round with my friend and greens were pretty good.

This course is trash the tee boxs are not even grass its straight dirt no grass near any tee box fairways beat up greens look like iraq nothing about this course is worth the money.

I love the location and how close it is to where I live. I think the green and course are poorly kept. People don’t repair their divets. The last two holes are like a 7-10min walk from 16th hole. It’s insane unless you’re in a cart. So if you don’t have much time and want to play 18 holes get a cart.

Leaves everywhere and putting surface was horrible
