Forest Park Golf Course

Tee boxes had mostly dirt and littered with tees. Dirt was solid, hard to tee up in some spots

Great weather, staff is very friendly and being a Holiday surprisingly the pace of play was very good. Had a fun round with my friend and greens were pretty good.

This course is trash the tee boxs are not even grass its straight dirt no grass near any tee box fairways beat up greens look like iraq nothing about this course is worth the money.

I love the location and how close it is to where I live. I think the green and course are poorly kept. People don’t repair their divets. The last two holes are like a 7-10min walk from 16th hole. It’s insane unless you’re in a cart. So if you don’t have much time and want to play 18 holes get a cart.

Leaves everywhere and putting surface was horrible

A good in city course with few frills. Quite a tight track with narrow fairways and heavy overgrown rough throughout. Greens need work, but that can be said of most in-city courses. Odd routing due to highway circuits, similar to Van Cortlandt in that regard.

Entertaining, but patience and extra balls, a must!

It was pretty much mounds and valleys of dirt, with flags stuck (mostly slanted) in the middle of a corroded green patch.

Big mistake, we walked, not designed for walking; especially if you take the "short-cuts", across fairways and through the "forest".

Tees are dirt, two of which, on of the group called the most dangerous tees in golf; sandwiched between two greens, where balls fly at you.

The course layout is nice, the value is unbeatable, and the location is very nice. The greens are really the only issue we had with the course; they are poorly kept with many grooves, bumps, and dead spots.

I am still waiting to receive my $40 refund for a golfer that couldn't play due to effects of the Tropical Storm that hit the day prior. GolfNow says they have tried to call the course several times but have yet to receive confirmation from the course and they cannot refund me until that has happened!?!?!?!

Fairways could use a mow, greens could use a mow and a roll, tee boxes could use grass, but all in all for being in the middle of Queens it’s acceptable golf
