Great course, slow pace

Beautiful course, well kept. Can be a challenging layout, with many tight fairways. Greens were playing true. Staff was also pleasant.

Unfortunately, the Sunday I went out on there were pace of play issues that took away from what otherwise was a great day. Course seemed to be extremely crowded. We waited at every hole to tee off and the group behind was pretty much up our butts the entire round. Some people might not mind this, and I get it, it's Westchester, every course is like this in the summer, but I'd be lying if it didn't drag down the overall experience a bit.

Great course

Course was in really great shape, and the weather was outstanding. A couple of the greens had too much dirt/sand left over from aeration, but all in all, the course played really well. And considering it was a fall day, not many leaves on the course. Will play here again soon.

Got to the first tee and there were 4 foursomes in front of me. The starter offered to let us start on 10 which turned out great. The round took us 3 hours. The greens were being aerated but that’s normal course maintenance.
