Mohansic Golf Course

Our tee time was pushed back 40 minutes and it took almost 6 hours to finish the round. The starter was doing his best with no support. No rangers on the course maintaining pace of play. Yes it was Sunday so I understand it’s going to be busy. Cart girl would have made a killing selling to all the groups backed on the first tee if she was there. Play midweek if you can!

Thoroughly enjoyed the round. Glad we played with regulars who could guide on placement for fairways and greens.

Greens were slower than expected and rough was thick making the course play longer than the posted yardage.

All in all a fine day.

Frost delay with not notification that set tee times back a hour. The driving range was also closed and several of the holes were modified, at a certain point the course just shouldn’t be opened if it is still going to charge full price.

The course was in decent shape for so early in the year. Good challenge without being too hard.

Rude starter — actually quite the jerk. He rushes people and wouldn’t let one of our guys tee off just because he got there 3 minutes before the scheduled time. Instead, he made him drop in the fairway, which was silly because he still had to wait for the green to clear. He’s rude, argumentative, and clearly on a power trip. He probably gets bossed around at home. Did I say jerk?

Beautiful day on a booked golf course. It was the nicest 5 hour round I have ever played. I don't know if it was the weather being perfect or that I broke 80. The round just played steady. We had to wait a bit on each hole but everyone kept it moving along. Greens were immaculate. Some of the tee boxes could of been better especially on the par 3s. They had rangers on a few holes with blind shots to keep the pace moving. The 3 some I was in felt exactly the same way. It was a bit over 5 hours but was very enjoyable.
