Mohansic Golf Course

The course has a lot of blind shots over the hills in the fairways. Greens were a little bumpy from previous aeration, also very undulating. Older course with a halfway house for refreshments. You can walk the course but very hilly especially #15 nickname Cardiac Hill.

Very well maintained for a heavily used public course. Challenging but playable.

Played the course for the first time on a Sunday. The weather was great and the course played under 5 hours. The fairways and tee boxes were well kept, but the greens and fringe was awful. Easily the fastest greens I've played at any of the public courses in Westchester. They were dry and rock hard. The layout of the course was not forgiving, as 80% of the approaches were blind shots to the green and the holes played a lot longer than the scorecard or GPS said.

I've played Mohansic 5 or 6 times now and every time it is a great experience. There is never a wait, the staff in the clubhouse is quick and efficient, and the pace of play is great. I'd totally recommend it to a golfer of any experience level.

The starter was very unkind. And, no rangers showed up for the control of pace of the play. The pace of the play was poor

Clubhouse clerk particularly the woman on the front desk lack customer service skills not too pleasant and slow in attending to guests. I was late on my tee time coz she went to break.

Excellent conditions. Not great for beginners as many blind shots. Great variation in the holes. If you are a beginner, bring extra balls.

This was my first time at Mohansic. I've heard the course was second only to Hudson Hills for WC courses, and that the staff was extremely rude. I found both to be entirely accurate.

The staff was one of the worst I've encountered in all my years golfing. It almost seemed as if we were bothering them to visit their course. I also asked the single I was paired with if he had same experience, and he mentioned "she couldn't be bothered; she had to finish her crossword puzzle before helping me."

The course was in excellent condition, though. I did not see a ranger out, but that could have been because it was a weekday.

This was my sons first time out to play golf. He was very excited and the golf lived up to his expectation. At the end of the day he first question was "dad when can we play again" what more could a father ask for. In the end it was the perfect first day for both of us.

Had tee time for 2:54P. Arrived at 2 and walked right on. Course was in great condition. Pace was fast. Finished in less than 4 hrs. Would highly recommend.

This course had beautiful features and the holes were not just straight always. Lots of dog legs.

First time playing this course and pleasantly surprised! For a public course it's well maintained and will definitely go back again

Really well-kept but waiting on every Teebox and Fairway...I would recommend going early and during the week

Good course, but felt uncomfortable when booking from Golfnow.com... Staff not too friendly....

I hadn't played one of the county courses in quite awhile, but Mohansic always seemed like the best of them.
I found out upon arrival that it had hosted a tournament earlier in the day. The preparation was impressive - best shape I've ever seen it in, dating back at least 25 years. I imagine it will be difficult to maintain that condition over a long period, so go play soon, it will be a pleasant surprise!

Would come again. Great value. Friendly staff. Clean establishment.

Not the best Westchester Course. Too many blind tee-shots, especially for a first timer at the course. Not great conditions and fairly repetitive layout.

Golfed here many times. Always a great value for the money. Well maintained and challenging.
