Great little gem!
Challenging course in great shape for middle of the summer golf in Missouri! Fairways and greens nice and the scenery is even better, great course !
Great views
Course was in great shape except for tee boxes could have been mown tighter. Overall an excellent track. The views distract you from the difficulty of each hole
Customer Service Needs Improvement!
Heard the course was better than two other courses that belong to a resort nearby. Played one of those courses on Sunday and had a blast. Found this course on golf now and decided to try it as a spur of the moment deal. Will never play again. No shower facilities and the bar staff basically ignored me until i had to rudely interrupt the young ladies inappropriate conversation so to get ice and some drinks.
The guys running the cart and bag drop area were undoubtedly the friendliest group of gentlemen I've encountered while playing golf. Very knowledgeable about the course and provided some helpful tips about how to play the front (river) vs. the back 9 (mountain). I ended up shooting 41 on the front and 39 on the back (I typically shoot low 80s/high 70s). The course was in fair shape and I expected it to be sloppy due to the recent excessive rainfall in the area. However the course was very dry and many of the teeboxes were difficult to get tees into.
I also had two foursomes that I somehow got between. They were apparently members and were playing best ball "scramble", basically playing their tee shots, approach, then picking the ball up. They were, by far, the fastest foursome (the ladies were in their 70's, mind you) I've had the misery of watching play in my life. In any event I was constantly having teeshots hit into me while hitting my approaches, and several times asked them if they wanted to play through; to which they declined.
Overall, this isn't a bad course. However I'd suggest playing on the weekend to avoid the member crowd and management needs to work on teaching the bar/restaurant staff some basic customer service skills.

Awesome Potential
Potential of entire 27 hole property is there.....they just need to work on the daily maintenance of the course....course needs more mowing and detailed general care. Greens are quite slow but very nice. Value for the cost is fine if you use the Golf Now opportunities, otherwise too pricey for the present condition of the course. I will play it again in a couple weeks to check out any improvements in general maintenance.
The mountain 9 is outstanding
Played the river and mountain 9 courses were in outstanding shape this is a top notch course. The golf now price made for one of the best values I have had. Am playing it again before I leave the area. It was pure total enjoyment for me. Great staff
.great layout
Even though the course was saturated by rain, it was in excellent shape.
Great day for are four some.
Cool in morning but but sunny for 2 hours then light rain but course in great shape. Great day for April.
Great staff and views
This course easily makes my top 4 list. The course is beautiful, the holes challenging and the staff was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met. A must play for anyone in the area.
better greens
Course is in good condition. The fairways are always very nice, the greens can be rough, but in very good shape right now.
What views!
Great conditions. Huge greens. Beautiful views. Lots of wildlife. Played River and Mountain courses. Wide fairways.
great resort golf course
great golf but river course greens were probably a 10 and the mountain course was a 5-6
Hot, hot course
Lovely golf course. Great staff, beautiful scenic course. Only problem was it was over 100 degrees but lots of water on the course and the wonderful gentleman to brought iced towels to players.
A country club experience throughout.
We very much enjoyed playing the course. However, we got behind two very, very slow players, who had little concern that we were being held up by their actions and play.
Great views
Course in very good condition. Able to play in 4 hours. Greens were in great condition. Need to hit it straight
vacation golf
The course was in excellent condition and was very challenging. I was a bit surprised to find the greens to be a bit slow for the level of the course. The course was very scenic and we enjoyed our round very much.
river and mountain course
River course perfect fairways and greens. Easier to plan shots and use the right club for proper placement. Mountain course fun but more blind shots leading to hitting the wrong clubs at times. Overall top notch course and facilities. Beverage cart about every three holes, friendly staff, and not overbooked so no waiting on tees. No complaints.
great course hard for beginner
great course for normal golfer but few holes blind shots and would be very hard for beginners and would be slow play for them if they spent much time looking for lost balls
Osage National Golf Course
We played 18 holes. River and Mountain. These are my favorites at the Lake.I love the course and the greens and fairways are excellent. My only complaint is that the last hole on the Mountain the left greenside trap had alot of rock gravel. Some as big as a half dollar.
Great course
Scenic, demanding, and fair. Lots,of elevation changes. Need to know your carries!
A great test of golf, bring your friends.
Course and greens are in good shape despite the rough winter. The staff has done a great job at clearing the tree debris. The rough has been burned and new growth is beginning to come up, which made finding a few errant shots easier. I played all three 9 hole recently. Mountain, Links and River all played well. Mountain did still have a few muddy areas that are under repair.
