Cypress Landing Golf Course signature 15th hole overlooks beautiful Chocowinity Bay. This par-72 semi-private course designed by Bill Love with Ault Clark & Associates has maintained a Four Star rating from Golf Digest for several years running and has also garnered recognition from the USGA and The Carolina Golf Association. The course combines a friendly atmosphere for the newer player with a solid challenge for the more experienced.

Pace of play poorly managed
I and my friends have played this course several times over the last few years, and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, yesterday was horrible pace of play and the course ranger made the mistake of thinking that the back nine would “open up” after a group was allowed to stop at the turn for lunch and a single player being allowed on the back nine who actually held up a foursome in front of us and our foursome. The back nine took two and a half unnecessary hours. You need to do better.
Also, the pro shop and grill close way too early, keeping afternoon golfers from refreshments and rest rooms when finishing a round.
Hidden Gem
Thus place is as good as it gets, such a deal for the money, you will not be disappointed….greens roll fast and true, pace is always great and the staff is always welcoming and accommodating… highly recommend!
Well designed course
Love the layout and the larger greens. Fairways feel generous. Greens roll medium to medium-fast. Just a lot of fun to play.
Great course
1st time playing, got paired with 2 good guts. Had a good time. Was challenging yet playable. Course is well played out and well taken care of. Back 9 got rained out and got a rain check so only can speak on the front 9.

Fantastic course
Cannot say enough good things about this course, from the Pro Shop staff to the employees in the Grill room to the maintenance crew, all do a phenomenal job. This place is as good as it gets. I highly recommend.
Pretty course
The course was in good condition except the greens had sand on them which should have been disclosed upfront. There was nothing said and there was no discount. I would not have paid the fee but I was from out of town. Everyone was very nice but we should have been told. I was very disappointed because I love the course. I still will recommend this venue. Pretty pretty place to play
Another couple of weeks
Really enjoyed the layout but greens were recently sanded and grass still waking up from winter, a week or so away from being excellent.
