Cypress Landing Golf Course signature 15th hole overlooks beautiful Chocowinity Bay. This par-72 semi-private course designed by Bill Love with Ault Clark & Associates has maintained a Four Star rating from Golf Digest for several years running and has also garnered recognition from the USGA and The Carolina Golf Association. The course combines a friendly atmosphere for the newer player with a solid challenge for the more experienced.

Great course - greater views
First time back since Feb ‘22. Had family in from out of town, they wanted to play a course they had not played - my choice. Found a good deal, great tee time w/Cupress. The course did not disappoint, fairways firm and fast, greens rolling quick having been recently dressed. Has some nice winds off the Pamlico River to add to the challenge. Course staff super accommodating, made us all super welcome. Only hiccup, was that the folks ahead were a little slow on pace of play and had some regulars that made us felt pressured. The views on 15 (Chocowinity Bay) and 18 with the peninsula green are worth taking a moment to just stop and view. Go play Cypress!
Very pleased
Fairways are peeking in nice! Some areas on slopes being worked on aerated, luckily didn’t affect play. Staff was very friendly and absolutely walked away impressed. Greens were in great shape. First time here and had no disappointment. Very pleasant afternoon on the course. Little slow due to threesome in front that had issues. But took in stride, been there and we made no effort as a twosome to press.
Cypress Landing May 2023
This is definitely one of the best kept secrets in North Carolina, as far as golf courses. Grew up at Quail Hollow and played many other courses throughout the state and this course ranks right up there. Rock Barn up around Hickory NC and the Sate Park in Cheraw SC fall up under the same category as far as being a best kept secrets.
Bad fairways
Played Cypress 2 days ago. Greens were excellent as usual. But the fairways were horrible, thin grass with little dead/bald spots everywhere. For the price point of this course I wanted better. Hopefully it’s because it’s early in the season and the grass will come in.
Great Course
A hidden gem. Great course. It was worth the drive and price.
Early Season
Wide fairways, long par 5's, lots of water compares to other courses in the area. Greens were sandy and fast. Bunkers well groomed.
Great Layout and Challenging
Greens are in great shape right now. Fairways are still dormant, but coming in nicely. It is always a pleasure playing there. This is not a course for someone who can’t control you shot. Very tight course with some tough holes. Greens seem to putt true depend on the soles of the greens at the time of play. Worth the money!
Main Course
This course was great! I have made this my regular main stay. I loved it.
