Pevely Farms Golf Club

I love all Arthur Hills courses. Peavley is no exception. Played by myself and despite the Hot Deal including cart the pro charged an additional $30 to ride in a cart by myself. This took a $48 hot deal to $78. This is the second time this has happened to me there. No other course I have ever played does this (and I have golfed in 49 states). I will think twice before booking a "not so hot deal there ever again."

Staff is unfriends and basically unwilling to help. Played nearly a 6 hr round and saw the marshals zero times trying to help with pace of play. Half of our group actually quit on 13 and just drove back to the parking lot it was so bad. Tried calling the clubhouse multiple times during the round, nobody answered.

Everything was really good! Greens were some of the best I’ve played on and they aerated them about a month ago. However, the fairways were rather tall and so were a lot of the tee boxes. Granted, it had rained a lot the week I played, so overall I enjoyed it. Will definitely be back again!

Great shape. Beautiful layout. A fun but challenging course.

Two things I really didn't like about the course were the layout and condition of course. Greens we fine, but fairways and tee boxes were not great, and the rough was really thick making it really hard to find balls.

Back nine is super quirky winding through woods.

The disease of "Oh By The Way" is running rampant on golf courses today. "oh by the way, the greens are being aerated, "oh by the way, The front 9 in closed. Here is the deal with most people I believe, if you just tell us we would probably still come and play, but this constant misinformation stinks of dishonesty. I don't want to pay whatever I pay, regardless of the amount to find out it's cart path only which is totally fine) on top of half the course being closed.

Love Pevely Farms, do not like the dishonest approach. I just checked their website on 4/9 and their rates are at 62.00, I am guessing it's still cart path only, and the Front 9 is still closed. But nowhere on the website does it tell you that information!

Be Better than that!!!!!!

It was a WINDY day, with gust up to 40 mph out of the south. Therefore, some holes had the wind at your back, and some right in your face. We always get paired up with such nice people, so the round is fun no matter the day. The fairways are starting to green up, Yeeha! And the greens are still a bit slow from the aeration a couple of weeks ago.

Pevely Farms is always a beautiful layout. The greens were just aerated, therefore the greens were a bit tough to putt on. However, it’s a healthy way to make the greens better later.

It was a Saturday, so it was very crowded. 2:15 on the front, but closer to 2:30 on the back. Of course we were cart path only because it’s still winter rules.

Challenging, scenic, fast greens. Excellent course for the rates.

This course is top notch and always has been. I play here at least 5 times a year, first time playing here in the winter and it is in beautiful shape. It’s a challenging track with a lot of hills, slope, and uneven lies. Will always be one of my favorites.

Course was soggy, very wet and cart path only. Expected during winter but at least we were able to get out and play.
