Beyond the products themselves, the stories about the people behind these up & coming women's golf brands bring meaning to each step they have taken to bring these golf fashions and accessories to life. These passionate business owners bring a new level of excitement to the game. They see the value in creating products tailored to women who love the game.
Many of these featured brands made their PGA Show debut this year and caught my eye as the best in new women’s apparel.
Abendroth
Brought to life by a female PGA Professional, Abendroth has put its focus in an area most brands haven’t seemed to master, women’s golf pants. The inspiration was to create a pant that doesn’t feel restricted while playing golf. Geared toward the young professional, working mom, or active golfer, this is a pant that can seamlessly transition from course to office.
The brand was launched in 2020 with the Peggy Pant Professional Jogger ($168), a 5-pocket pant that is built to fit phones, scorecards and everything in between. They have since expanded their line to include a crop and knit pant along with tops and outerwear.

As a nod to sustainability and quality control, Abendroth has introduced hair ties that are made from recycled pant material. Owner Emily Farrell checks each package for quality before shipping and if it's not up to par, the items will be re-purposed into hair accessories.

One of my favorite finds this year, I’m excited to see what’s next from Abendroth.
Elliott & Rose
Best friends of 46 years, Margot Rose and Elliott Buck, built their brand on the tag-line “Designed for the Long Game.” Catering to the demographic of women over 40, they created items that bring a sophisticated look for ladies who don’t want to wear the short skirt.

With the rise in women’s brands and specifically younger generations entering the game, brands have gotten edgier with their designs, leaving a gap in the market for designs tailored to mature golfers.
The line launched just over a week ago and the excitement was clear from not only the owners but from PGA Show attendees stopping by to view the pieces.
“We want women to feel consistent in what they’re wearing and confident in what they’re wearing,” says Elliott.

The Fiori Skort ($130) is the staple of the collection, featuring a 17” length and 4 pockets. Accompanying the skort, are several staple pieces including a vest, tops and a pant.
Midspring golf apparel is based on three pillars, functionality, femininity, and flattering fits. It was obvious seeing the line in person how much personality each piece has. Founders Shannon Arniel and Meredith Carmody took care in designing a line that can mix and match to become your entire closet.

Preppy at its core, the line has mastered functionality by including pockets that seamlessly blend into the style of their pieces and by having a variety of pieces to offer on and off the course. This shows specifically in the design of their dresses, which are cut to fit different body types across various styles.

The brand’s vision is to tailor to all kinds of women in golf looking for a preppy touch in their apparel. Coining the phrase, “Elevate your dress code”, everyone from the working mom to the competitive golfer can feel confident in Midspring.
Launching in March, Williams Athletic Club is entering the women’s clothing space with confidence. While most brands launch with a small collection, this brand has designed and brought to life four full collections, offering pieces for spring through winter.
Their bold entrance proves how much the owners and designers believe in the quality and vision behind their product.
The brand is focused on high fashion pieces, paying special attention to each detail to deliver a high-quality product. Each collection has a neutral color scheme and overall is one of the most sophisticated brands I’ve seen within the golf space.

Libby Gilliland
A notable trend Williams Athletic Club is bringing to golf is a bodysuit. We have seen bodysuits become all the rage in the mainstream fashion world, and while I never imagined it would be a style brought to golf, it's a creative and welcome addition.

The bodysuit has been created with a soft athletic material and designed with an extra inch of length in the piece for a comfortable fit on the course. While this is a newer trend, I can see the intrigue of having a top that stays tucked in while you play, especially for the traditional golfer playing with a dress code in place.
Williams Athletic Club is a refreshing new voice in the women’s space and I expect a very successful launch next month and beyond as they bring a new level of high fashion apparel to the game.
Sierra Madre is bringing a youthful western twist to golf apparel. Visiting their booth, it was obvious how excited founders Bonny Riddle and Michelle Anderson were to share their designs and the PGA Show clientele responded. They featured their own take on a bodysuit along with tees, tanks, dresses, and skorts.
What refreshes me most about this brand is their price point. It’s no secret that golf is a high dollar sport, and the apparel is no exception. Sierra Madre has made it a point to make shopping for outfits easy and affordable while not sacrificing style or quality in their designs.

They are not only modernizing the fashion space, but they are adding fun accessories to their collection. A play off phone charms, Sierra Madre has designed my favorite accessory of the year, a golf bag charm. The charm was inspired by an upcoming collaboration with Sunday Golf.

The bag and charm bring personality to a part of the game that is most fun to personalize . The much anticipated collaboration and charm will launch in March.
Tommy Bahama
Golf’s popularity has significantly risen in recent years, creating interest for mainstream lifestyle brands to enter the space. Tommy Bahama is a great example of this trend.
Known for their beach-side aesthetic, the brand has released IslandZone® Activewear featuring styles specific to golf.
Their designs bring pastel tones and a focus on quality fabric that contains UPF protection. This collection is perfect for the golfer in warm weather climates who likes to bring bright whites and tropical prints to their wardrobe.
Their Abby Jersey IslandZone® Skort is a perfect fit for the course. With a breathable fabric and simple color tones, it can mix and match to complement many pieces in your wardrobe.

Tommy Bahama has expanded the line to include tops, pants, dresses, and pullovers to help keep you comfortable through multiple climates.
2025 Watch List
March First
While not at the show this year, this brand has been making waves in the women’s space since their launch in 2024. March First is one to look out for as they expand their collection into layering pieces & accessories.
Honors
Mixing work wear with athletic wear, this brand started with a small collection highlighting their talent in high quality and high fashion pieces. Honors has confidently entered the space, and I look forward to seeing their growth in new collections.
MANTRA
Initially created in the men’s apparel space, MANTRA is launching their first women’s line in May. The brand has an inspiring focus on sustainability and giving back through their Impact Fund. Seeing the products in person, this line is very well made and tailors to any golfer. I’m excited for May to roll around to see the full collection.
