Impact is the most important moment of the golf swing. Today, James Oh helps you find the ideal impact position with your 3 wood, 7 iron and pitching wedge.

I don’t understand why the instructor, Mr. Oh (sorry, I can’t remember your first name), doesn’t answer the questions in the comments. I have the same questions as these other commentors. I really need to understand this better and get answers.
Appreciate the demo bud.
I was positioning the ball in the middle when hitting with the 3-wood but with unfavorable result. The front seems to make more sense.
I will definitely try a bit more forward and see how it goes.
Regarding the pitching wedge, I thought the rule of thumb was to play off the back leg. You seem to play more towards the center.
James-
Do you change your swing whether you're hitting 3-wood, 7-iron or wedge?
Well done and thank you, makes my golf game better
So you talk about swing to the left. If so, do set up with the face slightly open as it looks like you are coming outside to in? I was always taught that you wanted to drive down the line thru the ball consequently most of my shots are very straight not hooking or slicing.
How come there was no response to my comment?
Hi Do I use my arms to pull the club around to generate Club head speed or am I just holding the club grip and guiding the club towards the ball? Thanks
