Chatuge Shores Golf Course

Beautiful course, enjoyed the fall colors. Thought the rider fee of $20 was a little excessive.

The course is in good condition. Greens in good condition but fairway grass was long so not the usual roll your get out of your drives. Need some trim around bunkers the grass was a bit long but other than that it was a wonderful day to be at Chatuge.

Course needs alot of work, folks there were very nice, but explained that they are a not for profit course and have trouble keeping enough staff to properly maintain course. It was day one of our 3 day trip so it was OK as a starter round, have no food exect for chips and crackers. Seems to be par for the course so to speak in the N GA area golf courses. Would not go back.

Well maintained, wide open fairways and good greens. Price is right, highly recommended

Staff is awesome. Fairways need to be cut tighter. They were too spongy.

Very good course layout with a nice variety of picturesque holes. Greens were being aerated and sanded but it did not interfere with play.

Would definitely recommend this course and will play it again!

Chatuga Shores was an exciting course. Resting on the shores of Chatuga Lake, the rolling hills added difficulty while the scenery provided a picturesque backdrop. Best enjoyed with great company.

When you play this course, I would suggest making sure the parking brake is completely locked. The golf carts tend to wander especially on the second fairway! Enjoy!

It was so nice returning to the course I grew up playing in my childhood and teenage years in the seventy's. So many memories of great times.

The greens were in great shape and the fairways were well maintained

Chatuge shores is a great layout with plenary of challenging holes and features. I would highly recommend!

Course was in great shape however they do need a ranger, there was a 2 some 2 groups ahead of us that took up to 10 minutes before teeing off causing a major slip down. Even at the last green they didn't clear the green till they had all the heir stuff packed up. A ranger could have prevented this. Other that that we've played her many times and will play it again.
