Linville Land Harbor Golf Club

From the moment I walked into the pro shop to the last shot….absolutely amazing. The staff and members are really friendly and very proud of the back 9, which by the way, crazy great. The course is in beautiful shape. Can’t wait to come back.

We had such a great day at Linville Land Harbor course. I appreciated the conditions of the fairways and the greens. It was so helpful to have the course booklet that let you know the best way to play each hole. You can tell this member owned course has a lot of pride in their maintenance and care of their course. Restrooms out on the course were really nicely painted and updated. All the folks we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely play this course again and I do highly recommend it to anyone wanting to play a mountain corse with beautiful views.

Beautiful course

An excellent course with immaculate greens and fairways. We will come again and again to take advantage of this excellent course!

Arrived about an hour early and was promptly greeted by the gentleman in the clubhouse. He gave me clear directions to the putting green and warm up net area (no range here). Once ready to go I returned to the clubhouse and he then gave me some tips on playing the course as I was playing alone and had never been there. The course is short and tight, really only two holes driver might come into play. The course itself is in great shape, it’s a shot makers dream as knowing where to hit it is key here. Bunkers have soft sand with a good base and were all groomed well and when I say all I feel like I was in all of them. Greens were all in great shape, fast and roll true. The back nine was a nice break from a normal nine, it’s quirky and has some holes that will make you really think. I truly can’t wait to play here again now that I’ve seen it once. I visited their Patio Grill after my round and the guys there were all very friendly and despite reviews I read indicating they were cash only that’s no longer the case. Prices were very good and the food was great. I returned to the clubhouse and took advantage of the sale rack. Clubhouse attendant was again super helpful and invited me back at my earliest convenience.

Manager insisted the ho deal of $55 was supposed to be for 9 holes even though it clearly said 18 holes on receipt. Claims it was golfnows mistake. otherEmployee was very accommodating Front 9 is nice, back nine is super short, super odd.

I bought 18 hole $55 deal per email. Manager insisted its only good for 9 holes.

Really liked the course conditions. Great greens with undulation and in good shape. Lots of character and elevation changes. Some beautiful par 3's and long range views on some holes. Only played front nine. Very much a mountain golf course where you play to certain targets. Only hit driver twice. Definitely a course you need to play more than once to get an idea where to hit the ball.

Fun course in Western NC and they make good use of the geography. Staff was incredibly inviting and friendly. Very fun round of golf!

Nice course, front none is much longer, wider and enjoyable than back 9. No driving range fyi

Golf Now shows 9 holes only open...They have 18 holes available BUT GNow won't update their system! Its a fantastic course.
