Birthday round
Great course and friendly people. Highly recommend
Good conditions, strange course layout.
Well maintained course, but greens are very firm. Really like the first 8 holes, after that I'm not a fan. Back 9 is wide open, you can hit your drives 80 yards off line and have open shots to most of the greens on the back 9, thus the Back 9 is way easier than front 9. Hole #9 may be the easiest hole on the course, fairway is like 100 yards wide and severely down hill, all you have to do is hit a 120 tee shot and let gravity do the rest. Several greens have a poor design, decent shots can & will roll of them and into hazards often 25 yards away. Decent course but defiantly not a $50 one.
Cart path onl
The course was very nice but it was too wet for normal use so it was cart path only which made it tough for us as we didn’t know the course and we did a lot of walking
Nice course, a definite play
If you’re a first timer, it definitely helps if you play with a few people who have played it before. Challenging layout with some holes that require shot placement versus bomb and go. Greens were good and all were sloped in some fashion. Holes have character and all shots are required to score well. I’ll definitely be back.
Enjoyable
Pleasantly surprised since had not played there in over 5 years because it was too tight and unforgiving, lost too many balls or too much time hunting them and fees are on the high side. Looks like they removed a lot of trees and just seems wider and more forgiving than before. Only lost a couple balls. Course conditions fairways and greens were immaculate. Nice carts with GPS, coolers and sand for divots, although the cart died and they had to bring me a replacement but they were very prompt and apologetic. Didn't see any club or ball cleaners on the course but they may have them and could use more directional signage. A bit pricey and will only play if deal on Golf Now but highly recommend and will definitely return.
Beautiful course
Beautiful course. Very hilly.and difficult greens. Probably the hardest greens i ever played. They are big and fast..
Course in very good shape and nice layout. Slow play.
We walked into the clubhouse and they were just finishing a tournament and starting another tournament. Had no idea this was going on until we arrived. We had to follow the tournament players and waited every shot with sometimes 3 or 4 groups on one hole. Left after 15 holes when there were 3 groups on a par 3 and we were going to be the fourth. Enjoyed the course and people but not being surprised with a tournament.
Very nice, Excellent staff
This is a great course. It’s was in great shape, greens rolled true. It’s a challenge, elevation changes, great layout. Have played there several times and it never disappoints. Very friendly stafff both in the pro shop and restaurant/bar.
Hilly topography and very scenic. Worth the drive out from concord.
4.5 Star Course!
This was really challenging for first time players. A lot of blind shots and really difficult fairways to hit on several holes. I think future rounds would go a lot more smoothly in terms of knowing the shots. The course is still difficult but I appreciate the challenge now that I know the terrain! The greens were well kept (just a couple repair areas at the outer edge of a few greens but they rolled well and were quite fast!)
Great layout
Always challenging and the look of the course is outstanding. Great work to continue the development of this track. Tony and crew deserve accolades for the progress this course has made over the years.
A new favorite
First time playing the course. Had never even heard of it prior to start of the week. Glad I found it. Lots of hills. Greens were in fantastic shape. It has been dry here lately so there were some expected drier spots. But overall the course was well maintained. Will definitely be back.
My April visit
I play this course each time I visit my brother in Mooresville
Hidden Gem
This course is very challenging, lots of hills and awkward lies on the fairways. More water than you think, lots of blind shots. I will definitely be back
