Twin Oaks Golf Club

This course was clean, well maintained and wide open! Which is great for people who are newer to the games little hold up starting off on the first tee but the owner let us start on the back 9 which helped us out.

Staff in the clubhouse were friendly but once you leave and get to the first tee it’s downhill.No starter and some people who called themselves golfers just cut in line in front of others.

8:10 tee off time were a bunch of rude hackers who taught they owned the place.

Front 9 has a lot of holes parallel to each other and you could hear people yelling fore on nearly every hole.

Back 9 was more open but the fairways were poor and every green felt like you were putting on wet shag carpet.

Overall not a good experience as this course needs a lot of work.

We played early in the morning. The course had a lot of dew on it and it was tough to putt. As the day went on and the sun came out the course was a totally different golf course.

The rough was tough to get out of!! 🤬

This was a challenging course and we will certainly be back.

Paid for 18 holes at 4:15. Arrived and was told I could only play 9 holes after 4pm. Staff told me there was nothing he could do and to take it up with golfpass. First 9 holes seemed like a decent course and gave the impression that the price paid for 18 holes would be reasonable

Okay, so not a true 5 star course, but I had to rate 5 stars because this course is so severely underrated on this app.

The greens were slow, I played very early, but they were gorgeous well trimmed and stable. Way better then it was written about in other reviews. If you took some practice putts they were very readable and playable

Fairways were in very good if not great shape, no extra long grass, crab grass or anything chunky. The players here need to learn to fix a divot though.

Tee Boxes a little uneven but I have played 10x worse, a little chunky from divots especially on the 3s. But again not anywhere near what I read in other comments.

All in all a fun course with some really decent challenges, that a good golfer can take on and a bad golfer will be punished for, but still find their ball. Honestly will play again 8/10

Greens were so bumpy as water would not drain from the green area yet the surrounding borders were dry say about 15 yards from their edge. I was thinking that at first this wasn’t possible but the trend was too prevalent. To prove the point NO. Cart ruts were present anywhere near the greens.

Even the cups were full of water. My tee time was an early morning one but water was present even at 10:30 am on hole 17 for example. Being at greens with an approach shot would be too deep as I discovered so I worked on chipping ad others did to keep the damage down.

If you want a cheap course that is cared for this one is a great value for some practice

First of all staff here is very friendly. Luckily, I started early in the morning because when I finished my round, there were five or six groups waiting to tee off on the first hole. The course layout was fun, but the greens were very disappointing. They were very bumpy and the ball skipped and jumped a lot. They were very difficult to accurately put on.

The entire course is in terrible shape and the greens are completely unacceptable. I know it’s the cheapest place around, but it’s still not worth the money and it’s worth spending an extra five to $10 to go to a real golf course.

Tee boxes and greens were really rough. But, overall a decent place to play.

Love this course, we go all the time. I will say the tee boxes have gotten really bad, its hard to find a spot that you arent standing on lumps of dirt feeling off kilter. They keep the grass cut very well which we love, makes it great for ladies who drive the ball low to keep the ball rolling. the balls are easy to find, the wooded areas are mostly cleared and playable. So many positives we love playing here but PLEASE level the tee boxes, even if its dirt no grass would be better lol the employees are nice and fun. Such a relaxing time vs other courses.

The greens are bipolar some are awesome, but several have serious weed issues that one day hopefully is better.

Overall i give it 5 stars because the price is fair for what you get and the course design, and people are awesome.

…not only to my patience but my sensibility to expect what a $25 round should be.

My expectations were met with the price point of the round. I found the track to be normal, with some greens being a little jacked up.

The clubhouse is dated and the carts are gas powered from the 90s…

It’s a good round to get out and enjoy yourself, but don’t have too many expectations if you’re a better player.

I can confidently say this was my first and LAST time playing here. I arrived 15min early as usual and went to the pro shop to check in. The lady at the fest had no idea what tee time I had and had to show her that I had paid online through my phone. Course condition is a joke, all tee boxes, fairways, and greens were over grown. Carts are not well maintains and sand bottles were empty and zip tied to the cart, safe to say divots are not repaired on the course. Pace of play was horrible to the point were I tried to play through a group of 4 refused and was approached aggressively, told all sorts of insults and profanity and then refused to let me play through or even hit my tee shot due to them being writhing 2 feet of me and refuse if to move. Save your money and go somewhere else. Staff is unprofessional, patrons are rude and disrespectful, and course is in bad shape. 0/10
