Golfer Reviews
Enjoyable Course
Overall, I really enjoyed playing Twin Valley Golf Club\. The course itself is in pretty rough shape right now, especially the greens\. Almost all of them were pretty toasted, which made it difficult to get a consistent roll\.
You can tell this course has been around for a long time, and I really wish I could have played it in its prime\. It plays a little shorter, so I ended up moving back from the white tees to the blues since there weren’t any black tees\.
Despite the conditions, I played really well and had a great time\. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and for the price, I thought it was a great value\.
I’d definitely play Twin Valley again if I’m back in the Wadesboro area\. With some improvement to the greens, this could be a really fun little course\.
Rough Ride
For the price, it’s great but the ride in your golf cart will break your back super bumpy holes everywhere. If you have a bad back like I do you’re not gonna make it through 18.
Fun course - very friendly
I was able to get out early as a single with no problem. I never saw the groups ahead. It's a very hilly course with several blind tee shots which can make it hard to find your ball sometimes (I admit to not frequent fairways). The greens were cut pretty well (close) - medium speed - sloping but playable.
For the money it’s a course you have to play.
First time playing this course today, played a scramble from the front tees with my wife and the experience we had was unbelievable. Some of the most fun we’ve ever had. Elevation changes on the back 9 was awesome, some of the greens on the back need some more attention but I’m sure they are hard at work on it. We had an awesome time, pace of play was great not feeling rushed and just got to enjoy an awesome round of golf.
Great value
Super friendly and helpful staff. 2 very different 9s. Course was in good shape for the lack of rain and hot weather. New golf carts. Was worth a hour drive for the price.
Great Value
Played this course for the first time and it is a great course for the price. Open fairways so it is great for all handicaps. The staff was super friendly too.
Go play
From the moment you pull of the road the lay-out is great. Then you go in the club house and the staff is amazing. Very friendly group of people. They aren’t rushed and will have the most amazing conversations with you. Great course and great people. And guess what the carts don’t die on you while you are playing. We played a total of 27 holes.
The back 9 is rough
The front 9 is in good shape but the back 9's hilly conditions and blind shots and poor cart paths don't make it much fun to play, and a couple of unplayable greens were bad
Great golf
The course was nice play was very good but it's suffering from the drout going on down there.
Best Staff ever!
Fun challenging course! I really love the pace of play and everyone seems to be extremely friendly to play there
