Grand Oaks Golf Club

For our first time there, the course wasn't in too bad of shape. There was a huge backup. We had a two twenty tea time and didn't get teed off. Until almost three o'clock, there was a huge backup. They do not have many amenities and not much of a pro. Shop. The greens were in good shape and they were slow, not too fast. The course designed was pretty decent and fair. I'd say a three point five maybe a four. Overall, we had a pretty decent time. If it wasn't for the backup.

Good local track.. 1st time playing here, staff, (including ranger) and other players we met were amazingly friendly. A mature demographic of players out to enjoy a round on a weekday morning made for a great expereince. Had the best time with the people we met. Tee boxes and greens need some work. Pot holes and long grass made for difficult play on the greens. Don't know if that was do to recent weather challenges or normal conditions. Would play again when in the area,

First timer here at this course so unsure if I had the same experience as others. I play all over the metroplex and we picked this course due to the deal we found. I’m glad it didn’t cost more than what we paid. Positives- the carts are very nice even without GPS and the layout was easy to follow. I liked the scenery a lot and the houses didn’t impede ball flight on errant shots. Negatives- no cart girls, no water in the jugs on the course nor the ball washing station. COLD hot dogs. Tee times were stacked on one another so pace of play was painful. There was only one employee and a marshal that we saw; not a huge deal but you can tell it impacts the overall flow of the course. This course has serious potential but it needs to shut down for a bit, fix their dead space (bunkers are grassed/dirt), and mow their greens. It could be a top notch course if management tightened up performance as well. I’d love to help out with that…

Really fun and challenging course (especially for the sub $60 cost). The greens were really nice and surprisingly fast for how soft they were.

The cart path was rough and dusty, but the playing surfaces were in great condition.

Pace of play was what I expected for a busy Saturday afternoon with temps under 90 degrees.

I’d definitely come back to play this course again.

Golf course has challenging holes fun course to play.

Course advertises 18 holes but only the back 9 are available. Location is nice but the course isn’t well maintained and greens are bumpy dirt patches. The price is fitting for the facilities. Give it a try if you have nowhere else to play.

Course was in good shape the staff was super friendly, driving range doesn’t accommodate a ton of golfers but it wasn’t busy so was a non issue. Overall it was a fun track and a great price I would definitely play again.

Super friendly staff makes the Grand oaks experience one of a kind.. .. A must if you are in the area

Course had its challenges but the staff in the clubhouse were amazing and made this course worth the trip.
