Prairie Woods Golf Course tumbles across some of Wisconsin's most rolling terrain. On almost any point on the course, whether you're standing on the tees, the fairways, or the greens, the undulating landscape will put your skills of perception to the test. The golf course offers plenty of variety with a unique design on each hole. The rolling hills determined the strategic placement of the bunkers and there are water hazards coming into play on several holes. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes and reward a well thought-out shot, but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. The golf course is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees but the changes in elevation can make it feel longer. Besides being one of the most unique rounds in the area, Prairie Woods G.C. is also one of the most affordable.

Senior-friendly course that is worth the drive!

This course has a great mix of holes, including water, trees, doglegs, etc. very friendly to senior men as well; I was able to drive to within 30 yards on at least 3 par 4 holes.

Got a Hot deal last minute and booked. It is interesting who you get paired with. Course is in good shape. Greens are a challenge if you get above the hole. They tend to run passed a ways. Be back again.

Not much to complain about

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast but well maintained. The only complaint…and I’m being picky…is that it’s time to update the carts to have USB ports. Other than that, it’s one of my favorite courses in the area.
