Great afternoon walking alongside some nice folks
First time on the course.
Had great time
A bit Too slow for me . … 4 hours 40 minutes.
So actually not horrible
Overcharged for round
The price quote from GolfNow to play at Shoreline was $108. Two players with cart. I was charged $138. I didn’t notice until I saw my bank account charge.
Pace Slow Lack of Marshall’s
Tee’d off at 710 am expecting to finish in under 4 hours. By the 6th hole group in front of us was almost three holes behind. Had to call the pro shop to get someone out to do something about slow play. Groups were backing up. Round too 4 hours and 45 minutes. For the amount being charged they need to have a starter out in first tee setting expectations along with Marshals monitoring the groups teeing off before 8am to improve pace of play.
Nice day
Always fun playing here course is looking good something’s still need addressing to like the bridge to hole one. Plus to get to back nine needs some work and update the cares would be nice. Other then that had a good time would definitely one back.
Traditional links style
This course is best for all level golfers who enjoy little hazards and limited elevation. Although be prepared for wind
Better course maintenance would be great
Havent played shoreline since 2021 and one thing has changed, the green on 12.
Gopher holes, grass patches in the fairways, and goose poop are guarantees at shoreline.
Pace of play was ok for a holiday. Maintenance crew had no common courtesy when on the putting greens. They would continue mowing the fringe while we were putting.
It can be a fun course if the fairways were in better condition.
The tee boxes could use some help too. Many of them were sloppy, ball below or above your feet, etc.
Not worth $52 walking rate, more of a $30 course
It in the greatest condition.
For $50 with a cart this is a cool
Course. But it’s not worth any more than that due to its conditions in my opinion.
If you like Goose poop…
Windy, bad organization of holes. Goose poop was terrible and why we will Not be returning
A dump
Despite its strong practice facility, Shoreline has got to be a health hazard. Some holes are literally fully of bird poop on every inch of the fairway and greens. It is extremely bumpy from all the ground squirrels, rendering it nearly unwalkable. Staff are cool and service is good.
Perhaps the extremists who are somehow allowed to run these Bay Area cities should redesignate it as a “soccer field” so they can make the greens and fairways immaculate in the name of cultural sensitivity…. I’m joking, but I hope you get my point. .
Agreed. Remove the squirrels, make the fairways walkable, and do something about the geese. Hole 10 is always a disaster with about 200 geese around the green, It's a golf course, not a animal sanctuary.
