$46 to rent a Cart!!
The course is nice. But get ready to pay $23 per person for a cart. And $12 beers. Wow! I like Los Lagos better for the price.
Seen better days
I grew up in Cupertino and played this course in the late 60s and early 70s frequently. It was in really good shape then. This was the second time I have played it in recent years and was once again disappointed. The greens are in good shape, however, the fairways are poor and the tee boxes are in horrible condition. In addition, on several of the tee boxes you are required to hit off mats, which I despise. I was able to get a good price on GolfNow at $31 per round, however, the price to rent a cart was $46 for a couple which I think is out of line for this course. Won’t be back anytime soon.
Course under repair
Several holes using mat tee boxes and teeboxes in general were in poor shape. Hole 2 was using a temporary green and hole 4 green was completely closed so the hole was set up in the fairway. I've played here 3 times now in the past year and a half and it's never been in good condition. I do not plan on going back.
The tee box mats ruin the experience
I’ve played Deep Cliff many times over the years, but this last visit was frustrating. More than half the tee boxes were on mats, making it nearly impossible to get a consistent setup or even tee the ball properly without short tees. For a $60 round, it felt more like practicing at a driving range and if I wanted to chunk shots on a mat, I’d just go to the range instead. I’ve always liked the course’s layout and setting, but the current conditions really take away from the experience.
Not worth the fee.
I was very surprised that I paid $12 more because I booked on GolfNow. From my very long membership with GolfNow, I never thought that was possible. Very disappointed!!

Deep Cliff is a must play for all golfers.
Great place for beginners. But awesome for the regulars.
Come out and play here. Well manicured course.
Enjoyed playing the course, particularly the back 9.
