Deep Cliff Golf Course

For $33 this course is more than worth it. I only golf here if I can find a deal for 33-35$$ the normal rate of $55 I would never pay because there are better courses for the same price in the South Bay. But other than that the course is decent and the scenery is nice.

I live close so I come here often. It’s a solid executive course. Fun to play. Plenty of challenges especially when the trees grow out forcing you to hit straight drives and punishing those who focus too much on hitting far.

Pace of play was terrible and Marshall was no where to be seen. Course garbage bins were all overflowing. We had to cancel full 18 round after hole 13 as the waiting was just too much. Did not feel money's worth.

Wasn’t notified from GolfNow about the current aeration going on on the greens. Also, we got to the course that was a discounted price but couldn’t honor to the fact that we booked through GolfNow. I was disappointed in the process of having to play the same nine twice I would’ve never have scheduled it if it would’ve been aware of the condition of the course.

The course is nice. But get ready to pay $23 per person for a cart. And $12 beers. Wow! I like Los Lagos better for the price.

I grew up in Cupertino and played this course in the late 60s and early 70s frequently. It was in really good shape then. This was the second time I have played it in recent years and was once again disappointed. The greens are in good shape, however, the fairways are poor and the tee boxes are in horrible condition. In addition, on several of the tee boxes you are required to hit off mats, which I despise. I was able to get a good price on GolfNow at $31 per round, however, the price to rent a cart was $46 for a couple which I think is out of line for this course. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Several holes using mat tee boxes and teeboxes in general were in poor shape. Hole 2 was using a temporary green and hole 4 green was completely closed so the hole was set up in the fairway. I've played here 3 times now in the past year and a half and it's never been in good condition. I do not plan on going back.

I’ve played Deep Cliff many times over the years, but this last visit was frustrating. More than half the tee boxes were on mats, making it nearly impossible to get a consistent setup or even tee the ball properly without short tees. For a $60 round, it felt more like practicing at a driving range and if I wanted to chunk shots on a mat, I’d just go to the range instead. I’ve always liked the course’s layout and setting, but the current conditions really take away from the experience.

I was very surprised that I paid $12 more because I booked on GolfNow. From my very long membership with GolfNow, I never thought that was possible. Very disappointed!!

80.00 for a round and a cart!!!!’ Really??? Way too much for this course. Better courses for less with cart!
