Great Time to Play The Garden
Tee are way back today. Getting the full length of course. Putting greens need a mow. However scored a birdie on the 9th. Have Fun!!
Fun with beautiful Weather
Always fun. Tee boxes need improvement but the condition of the greens has greatly improved from a few months ago. It seems like whatever disease that had infected the greens seems to be 80% gone.
Sunken Gardens- a hidden gem
i played at Sunken Gardens in Sunnyvale, right up the street from Apple's "Spaceship" building. Its' a quiet, well shaded, 9 hole course, that has wide, forgiving greens, occasional wild life visitors, and plenty of holes where the driver is not required.
It is a wonderful course, where beginners and recreational players of all ages can swing away and spend 2 hours with nature and friends. A pleasant little escape form the daily grind. I hope to double back this way soon.
Worst course ever.
First time here and this is the worst course I have ever played but the staff was super nice. This course is here for socializing and not for any type of decent play, one green was actually playable, bunkers are dirt with a sand mixed in and the tee boxes are so chewed up its not worth hitting off them. If you want to play with friends and not care about scores or any serious practice this course is for you....
Great 9 Hole Course
Great value, good course layout. Nice practice range but note the balls are compression adjusted to not fly far at all. Large putting green. Pace can be slow on some early mornings and weekends. But mid day during the week it's usually pretty quick. I'd recommend this course to others as a quick cheap course to play in the bay area.
