About
Perdido Bay Golf Club has hosted several notable players including Jack Nicklaus, Tom Kite, and Curtis Strange. It also formerly served as the site to the Pensacola Open for a decade-long stretch and while it may not be host anymore it still preserves its integrity as a challenging, championship course. The golf course is long and narrow, rewarding both distance and accuracy. Although it is mostly flat there is some strategic mounding that causes tricky lies throughout. Perdido Bay Golf Club's fairways are flanked by multiple cuts of rough and the greens are large and undulating. Many of the greens, as well as the tees, are also elevated. In addition to the golf course, there are also extensive practice facilities that include a large driving range, putting green, chipping green, and greenside and fairway bunkers.

Insane
They started a 4 some of 90 year olds on 10 in front of us as we were making the turn after 9 on a busy day. We called and asked them to send a marshall out. They said they would but never did. I’m t took close to 3 hours to play the back 9.
Pizza play
One of the worst causes I've ever played.. they let people go off in front of us on the front nine we were coming around to hold 10 they started to force them off in front of us as we were rounding to play 10. We called the Marshall to inform them they said they was going to send someone out they didn't send anyone out. The 2 group they put in front of us made eye round an extra hour and 30 minutes long. The staff was really poor lied to us

Goid coarse just needed to be kept up better by cutting greens and tee boxes
Great round at Perdido Bay
We really enjoyed our round at Perdido Bay. The greens were in fantastic condition and the course was very fair and playable. The staff was friendly and we were able to get a t time before 8:00 for quick pace of play. Really a nice experience I look forward to returning.
Great value
The course was in decent condition. The layout is great. The greens were in great shape but a bit slow. Pace of play was not great. Took almost five hours to play eighteen but we were paired with some fun people so still had a great time. Course is definitely worth playing at a value price.
Perdido Bay
Nice course and layout. Several sets of tees for even the longest hitters. Lots of bunkers in good condition. Overall a challenging course in good condition. The clubhouse staff and starter were great.
Vacation Round
It was very good layout! Pace of play was a little slow, however the course was recovering from aeration! The greens were better on the back nine! Definitely will play when I am back in this area!
Honest Friendly Staff Nice Layout
Hit the “buy” button on GolfNow before seeing the “aeration warning” notice. Called course and staff were very upfront and honest about punches greens. Greens were slow but remainder of course in nice condition. Nice layout, challenging course.
Long course for Senior ladies
At almost 5200 yds, Perdido Bay was a challenge for Senior Ladies. Adding a Senior lady tee box to shorten course to 4800 yds would be welcomed. Greens were very slow. Very different grass on greens. Our courses in Memphis are very fast Bermuda. Would love to play again when perdido's greens are faster.
Poor course conditions
Fairways have a lot of bare places, some were under repair. The greens were not consistent, a few much slower than others and a few with grassy weed imbeaded in the green itself. Pace of play, well 5 hours and 12 minutes for 18 on a Thursday midday T time. Twice we had Marshalls stop by and apologize and stated they would speed up the pace of play, which we never saw. I may play here again but maybe wait until late fall and see if they make improvements. Looking forward to improvement, this is a fun course to play.
