About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Charged me Twice
Had $63 hot deal paid in advance on golf now, at course was told I didn't have hot deal so I was charged another $91 full price. Seems like a good golf now deal...Only !54 for a HOT DEAL
My Favorite Course
Challenging course, but very fun! Course staff always pleasant and helpful!
Well kept and difficult course
Course was in great shape other than the greens- weather needs to be warmer for the greens to come back fully. In April or May this course will be in perfect condition!!
Fun, but challenging course
The course was in good shape, with the greens in excellent conditions. There is a lot of sand everywhere so that what makes it a tougher course but worth it for the money
Lost key review
Great deal on golf now, paired with some great guys I never met before. Tight course but fair. Will play again
BEWARE OF STAFF
Terribly kept course. Staff is some of the worst people you could find. They take advantage of their members an even those that are in the military. They are CROOKS. I wouldn’t give them your money.
Much improved
Greens are new and very playable. Tees and fairways are playable for average winter conditions. Overall it is a good value for your money. I will come back.
Awful Conditions, do not play.
I am an above-average golfer who plays a variety of public and private courses.
During my round, I found that most of the fairways were extremely thin and in several areas nearly bare. Additionally, the greens were in particularly poor condition, with large portions consisting primarily of dirt rather than turf. I cannot recommend this course due to the horrible course conditions.
Good layout , horrible condition
This is by far the worst condition that I have ever seen on this course. Fairways are either bare or a mixture of sand and grass. The greens were mostly dirt with grass mixed in. Wanted to demand a refund. Do not pay to play this course.
Too much sand
Fairways are narrow and sloped toward trouble in a lot of places. A lot of sandy areas (not bunkers) mid-fairway that kill roll.

Lost Key
Super challenging, it’s nickname is lost ball, but the course is excellent to play, the greens are challenging, the carts have a visual program with yardage calculator and landing area information.
I would absolutely recommend playing
Lost Key in January
First the overall layout:
Fairways were not exactly tight, but there is trouble right and left on every hole. Miss by a few yards and you will quickly understand why this is often referred to as "Lost Ball".
The greens are slightly elevated, and fall off quickly on either side and long. Getting down in two is usually not easy. Again, accuracy is at a premium.
Condition:
Tees had just been overseeded and were excellent. The fiairways, not so much. Not much grass, and I assume they are not overseeded. Hardpan type lie is the norm.
The greens are of course Bermuda, but not a grainy as some I have played. They held the ball nicely, but left very little ball mark. The putting surfaces were excellent. If you miss a putt here, don't blame the green.
Overall, this is a very good, but very demanding course.
