Golden Hills Golf Club

New grass....Super slow round. Usually 4 hours not FIVE! I will play the course 3 or 4 times a winter. Interesting layout, good cart path only course. And pretty good value.

Course is in bad condition. They don’t give you a refund or a rain check if you leave due to slow play. Took me over an hour and a half to play the first three holes.

Would not recommend. .

This course is ok for a practice or hack, staff are dude and not interested in assisting you. Pay more money and go somewhere else

Course layout is good. Conditions need some work beside usual oversees conditions

Don’t go here unless you wanna deal with angry staff that want to be anywhere but there. Especially the head guy man was he on his period

It was a difficult day at Golden Hills because it is a big golf course and it is "cart path only". The grass in the fairways is very lush and the rough is ridiculously long and wet. The course continues to have trouble with their watering system which leaves some areas a bog! The greens are in ok condition but are not consistent. Most are very slow with the grass too long, but a few were quite fast. Hard to get a read.

if you want super cheap golf, this is the spot. the course is relatively green. fairways ok. rough is long as it should be. the greens are very fluffy. putts were hopping all the way to the hole. super slow and not very true. carts are old and no GPS. i've played here over the years a lot. i love the course, but its just not where it should be. staff is awesome. great course for beginners.

Front 9 twice so I understood the price. But wheyouf ball trickles off fairway and into first cut (if you want to call it that) it was higher than ankle deep. Pace of play was terrible. The group ahead of us drove to the edge of the green and then would not get off the green and move on.

It was a little slow as they didn't group people together. In front was a single player, we were a double and behind was another double. Because of this, I felt rushed.

Last second decision with friends and it paid off. Great pace of play, nice and friendly staff, and challenging in the right places. Course was ROIGH from the storm this week but if the grass was cut back and there weren’t puddles it would have been an easy 5 star. This place is not for snobs. Come for fun, and take yourself less seriously.

We have played this course 20x, and it’s a good. Alice with quick play during weekdays. The staff is friendly, and they have a bar-restaurant on site with a simple menu priced fairly.

Great layout, awesome staff good people! Best bang for your buck in the valley they just need to cut the greens down a little bit more!
