Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Fairways are like playing on concrete.
The fairways were terrible! You would be lucky to find some grass in 90% of the fairways. The ground is hard the greens were ok but need a lot of care. I would not recommend playing here. I have not played here in many years and I will not go back for many years. This used to be a beautiful course don’t know what happened.
In need of a little TLC
Love this course but the fairways need help
The t-boxes were ok and the greens were fast
They have a nice patio overlooking the 11 th hole which is very nice
Will wait till next year to try it again
Great Experience
Staff were friendly from the get go. I like that they had a little stand out by the driving range to get something to eat and drink. Very convenient.
Layout of the course was nice. Fairways could use some work.
Facilities were clean. I will definitely go back.
Better fairways on mars
For $72 this course is not it. This course has the worst fairways I’ve ever golfed on. You were actually punished for being in the fairways. The weeds have overtaken the entire course and the fairways are 50/50 weeds and sand. The pro shop guy was very friendly and the carts were nice otherwise stay away from this place. Course is not worth $50 in the condition it is in now. This is the first review I have ever written that’s how bad it was.
Waste of money
Besides the greens the course is in unreasonably bad condition. The course has a cool layout with tons of potential but you are just playing off dirt hard pan or loose sand in the fairway. Staff and amenities were just fine but won’t even consider going back. Hope this saves someone’s day.
Great Layout
Maybe because of the drought, but the fairway and rough were a little ratty. Lots of hard pan areas, but definitely playable. The traps were the worst. But not because of the course, but because of the rake in the carts that people don't realize. The greens were perfect! I'd play here again.
First Time
Great golf experience, fun course that required a little strategic shot selection. Greens were fun, staff was friendly and pace was decent, for a Masters Saturday. 2 hour front; 2.5 hour back.
baked, wait for the rain
Fairways are baked to almost bare. Pick your ball clean or you are in for bad strikes. Playing the gold forced some carries and use of driver when I'd prefer other approaches....there was no secondary option. Maybe different from blue or white. Greens were fine. I'd play again but this course needs water bad. The range is all grass and mostly picked apart with divots, plus is is not level. The course did not look busy but was oddly backed up and slow. No ranger but the beverage cart was well stocked and regular.
Golfing Heritage Harbor
I like the course but you could use a starter + a ranger. I played twice there this month. The first day I caught a 3 some on the 2nd hole but in front of them was a 2some + in front of them was a single. The Course was backed up because of that. On the second time out, I was going out again at the 1st tee by myself. 2 Gentleman pulled up just after I hit , they were happy to play as a 3some. I played with Mark (an employee there) + his friend Doug. We enjoyed each other’s company but we played very close to a 5 hour round. I’m old + I get stiffer + stiffer after waiting to shoot after each + every shot. I really enjoyed the gentleman but waiting like that usually leads into lost concentration + mostly poor scores. Unfortunately this happened for all 3 of us. Please hire a Starter + at least 1 Ranger to help the slowest groups more along.
Sad
Sad that the course was i such bad shape. Weeds, burnt grass, uncut greens ... sad.
Great Course, Go to course
Excellent course. Fun and challenging, it’s early spring so obviously the course won’t be fully green given the lack of rain in Florida right now. But when it does rain and the grass gets some water, this place is amazing. Didn’t know they got upgraded carts with Bluetooth speakers in them and a screen for yardages. Absolutely amazing stuff. Worth the drive if you don’t live close, laid back chill pace of play, great time, great vibes, 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a good weekend course to play. Typically play on Saturdays but played today on Sunday at 1 and finished the round of 18 in regular time. Never felt rushed, greens were great for this early in the season. Had a ball. Love this place will be back again soon.
Don’t if I will go back
Greens seem to be the only area on the course that’s being maintained. A lot of weeds in the fairways and tee boxes. I expected more for the price. Staff was great but course conditions were subpar.
Heritage
Nice layout, good pace, reasonable price for these days. Greens decent. Roughs are just dirt and weeds, tees need grass and fairways so-so. Might be a better experience in the summer or if we get some rainn
