The Groves Golf and Country Club
About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Wow! What a great time!
I have to say the course was in really good condition. The staff was really polite and very professional. I had a nice time and everyone I met were absolutely special. !!
Always the same
Course is always in good shape. Greens, always among the best in the area. Pace of play is good, almost always under 3 12 hours
We drive 30 miles to play one way, and will do so again.
Greens are in good shape.
Overall the course was in good shape. The only issue was that Marshall’s are required as some groups feel that they are the only ones on the course. The pace of play needs to be monitored so that an enjoyable round can be offered to all.
first time playing there. would go back to play again.
Review
The Groves is always in fine condition ..not too much water or sand hazards, nice close cut fairways and smooth fast greens......However, there are some holes that require accuracy either off the tee or on your second shot.... recommendation...leave the driver home......this course forces you to "work on your short game"......highly recommend.....
Very nice course
Short course par 66. Very nice challenging course. Great shape, grass on the fairways and nice greens. Will play again soon. Very well maintained. Friendly staff and people playing.
The groves
OK course but too short. Lots of par 3 and short par 4. The par 5"s were short too but made up for it by strategically placed water and or bunkers. Too boxes and teens in pretty good shape and the fairways a yearly had grass. Not a bad course but I see it as mote of an executive style coutse.
Good for beginners
My wife is learning to play and this is a good course to learn on.
The course is short which enables her to learn without play 400-500 yards holes and pace of play is usually laid back.
Great Layout
Loved the layout of the course. However it is small mostly par 3 & 4's. Great for golfers that don't hit their Drivers very well.
