Course maintainence under par
I have been an owner at Massanutten for 30 years and I have never seen the golf course in this lack luster condition
Tee boxes full of weeds and bare spots
Fairways with crab grass and bare spots
Greens with bare spots and weeds around the edges
This is certainly not worth $ 65.00 for a round of golf
A total lack of attention to detail in my opinion
Woodstone
The overall condition of the course was ok. The greens had some dead spots and large holes. The ground holds water. The layout is great and the views are amazing.
Winter golf
WoodStone Meadows is a player friendly golf course with well maintained fairway and greens situated around the rental condos. The course design consists of elevation changes and mix of par 3's and 4's with a couple of 5's.
Winter golf can be fun if you don't mind bundling up and driving off a frozen tee box in 35-40 degrees. Not crowded at all for obvious reasons, so you're not rushed. Best times are spring - fall.
So much fun!
Played this course with my nephew on Labor Day. Figured with it being a resort course on a holiday it would be slow, but the starter was spot on, the pace was smooth. If you don’t hit irons well this course will crush you with 9 par 3s and some twisty layouts that make the 4s and 5s play longer than what they are. Course was in immaculate condition, beautiful features throughout. One of my favorite days golfing ever. Loved this place!
Best golf week
Stayed at the resort which is 100 yards from the driving range and pro shop. Got to play five rounds, through the week. Course was in outstanding shape and has some challenging holes making it great to play.
Great Golf vacation
Got to play 5 days in a row and enjoyed every round.
Course is in great shape and getting better everyday. It is a very challenging course for having 9 par threes. Some of those could be par fours as they are challenging with change in elevation. Will definitely be back soon.
Better and better everyday
On Monday after a lot of rain the course was good but the rough was about 4 inches long. Each day they worked to get the grass cut and today the entire course was fantastic. Greens are in great shape and roll true. Fairways are soft and workable. Played four times this week and hope to get one more round in.
Great 9 hole course
Great little course. Very scenic and views of mountains are stunning. Very enjoyable and challenging. Great practice facilities, great putting green and nice driving range.
