We only played 9 holes and they directed us to the “Mountain 9”.

The perfect Massanutten add-on round
I spend a week at Massanutten every July in the odd numbered years. Lakeview is my go to extra round. About 10 minutes from Massanutten, Lakeview is better than either of the resort courses and a much better value. If you’re staying at Massanutten, definitely add Lakeview to your itinerary for the week.

Three fair but challenging nines. Well defined tree lined holes with nice mountains views in the Shenandoah Valley. Walking is permitted. Friendly staff. Check-in was a breeze. Driving range is mat only. I play here every time I vacation in the area.

Fun course to play.
Played Mountain/Lake 9's. Mountain was in very good shape. Lake was in good shape. Fairways weren't as thick as Mountain. Greens on both rolled very smooth and were quick. Place was very busy but the starter kept everyone moving and on time. It's a fun course to play with many challenging holes. 5 different sets of tee boxes. I played the hybrid 18 which is a mix of senior/white tees.

This course is about 2 hours from me but I play it about 5-10 times a year. It’s a very busy course but the do a great job organizing it to keep the pace of play moving. Highly recommend this course,
