Heritage Oaks Golf Course

The greens were in good shape. Play was so slow that we skipped the first hole. No restrooms on the course although we think we saw a porta potty near 13. The course has a lot of rough where you can lose your ball. The carts were ok. There's no water on the course. We were shocked at the $20 fee for my non-playing 82 year old companion, who could barely walk with his cane, to ride with me.

Really great course, fairly wide open tee shots. Excellent greens, and not too tough to play. Easy to park and play, and golf shop had great prices on shirts and shoes.

I was a bit concerned with the hit and miss reviews on this city owned course but I was pleasantly surprised right from the first tee. I got out nearly 90 minutes early and didn’t hit traffic until the 5th hole and found the local senior league having their day out. They only played the front 9 and I had the back 9 all to myself until the 17th Par 3.

I’m usually never bothered to take pictures at city owned courses but this one could easily be a semi-private setup based on the hole layout, somewhat difficult all carry 185+ yard Par 3’s and must layup Par 4’s.

Course was in very good shape tee to green. Greens were smooth and a little quick. The new tee boxes they put in a few years ago are very nice. Dave, the Pro there is Super nice. Course was very busy but was to be expected for a beautiful Saturday morning. I'll be back soon.

Course was in good shape. The pace of play was good. Single player we were paired with was excellent to play with. Really enjoyed our round

Pros and cons:

Pros, great price, course was clean, good layout,

Fairways, greens and tees are well care for. Driving range

Cons, no starter, restaurant closed, no where to eat or drink. I will recommend the course overall playable and clean, well taken care of.

No ranger (pro or con?)

This course is a real gem. The condition was great.The staff was welcoming but the biggest thank you has to go to the grounds keepers.

First time here. Friendly and pleasant pro shop staff. Course in great condition with a great lay out. Cant wait to return!

Had a great time. Pace of play could have been slightly better, but everyone was friendly about it which is way better than having perfect pace. Staff was also very nice.

We love playing municipal courses and this was another great one.

Course in fantastic shape and hole layout interesting. Wouldn’t get bored playing this course. Signage useful or we would have gotten lost going to next hole!

Would love to play it again.

I hadn't played this course for a couple of years. They have improved their course significantly. The rerouting of paths has improved the course.

No starter, no marshall and we barely got through 5 holes in 2 hours...so we left.
