Nairn Dunbar Golf Club

Lovely course with very friendly staff and members. Made to feel very welcome. Food in club house great value for money.

Absolutely loved our round here. The course was in fabulous shape, it was fun to play, the staff was kind, and the after round pint was delicious. One of our favorite courses so far on our Scottish golf adventure. We got the round as a hot deal, so a fabulous value for the quality of course. Can't miss playing here.

Winter tees were in use with a 2 club wind. Its the 2nd time i've played it. Couse was in extremely great condition (full greens and fairways in play). I thoroughly enjoyed it and played very well (chuffed to shoot 82).

I'd dfef play it again soon.

Absolutely magic course to play

A great links course with some tricky holes. For a fun time play off a more forward tee than you might normally choose. Back tees for a challenge!

Beware sneaky ditches/water.

We had an excellent round at this course and would highly recommend.

The local members that we talked to were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely golf here again.

Played Nairn Dunbar after Spey valley: what a difference! Dunbar does not offer a great setting or variation in holes. Bit monotome.

Great round of golf with my son and a guy (Ross)I’d never met who was on holiday in the area. Course has a good variation of holes, the greens were surprisingly quick, and the fairways in good nick considering the amount of rain that fall in the past few days. The pro was chatty and friendly. Will definitely return to play again.

The golf course should be a must play if you are visiting Nairn. Though there are no ocean view holes, it’s a great test of golf and may have one of the best holes in the highlands (18th). I’ve played all of the courses in the area, everything in-between Brora and Nairn, and I really do consider this a great test of golf.

Course was in good condition. Greens were good pace and not too fast. Noted that the large cross ditch on the 16 was not visible or marked (would know next time !!) which was disappointing.

Wind was severe which made playing awkward but didn't detract from the experience.

Wasn't too impressed with the welcome in the pro shop - he seemed more interested in other golfers who were there (assumed club members) about to play in front of us, because of this did not take advantage of the clubhouse facilities.

Overall enjoyed the course and would play again.

I loved it and was very lucky to get such a deal from Golf Now. The pro was very friendly and it was a warm welcome in the clubhouse.

I thought the course was superb, fairways in great nick, greens were awesome. Highly recommend to anyone looking to play a terrific links track.

Challenging course whatever your handicap.. Generous fairways but trouble waits for wayward shots. Large greens In good condition to test the best of putters.

Great course and great value. Course was busy with an inter club match playing 4-balls so 3:45 hrs to play was not too bad.

One slight criticism would be the tee-time behind teed off a bit early at times - not sure why as there were about 6 x 4-balls in front with no big gaps!!

Small fairways and the greens are fast.. The holes far away from the clubhouse are the nicest.

Played here 10 years ago and had forgotten what an absolute gem of a course this is and to make it even sweeter it only cost £25.99. Nairn must be some course if this is considered a weaker course just make sure to hold your nose going down the 12th fairway as the smell from the caravan park is quite overwhelming

Course was fantastic and in great condition. When the wind picked up in the back 9 it became a challenge but enjoyable. Would recommend it 100%

I got a last minute deal through GolfNow and played with a chap from Carlisle. This is a course that I had wanted to play for a very long time. From meeting the chap in the shop to saying 'cheers' to the barman upon finishing a pint it was a great experience. The greens were utterly terrifying in terms of speed and borrows. It is not a particularly long course but has some great par 4s - including several doglegs - on both front and back 9. The 8th was the pick of the par 3s.

The course was easy to navigate around and was in immaculate condition, although it was mid July. The bunkers and tees were all very neat and tidy. My only very slight criticism is the final hole - I assume that the green has been relocated to the top tier and changed from a par 4 to a par 5. If so, I don't think this was a particularly good decision. I failed to play to my handicap but it took me several holes to get used to the speed of the greens. Scoring on the back nine proved to be easier than the front 9. Lovely, bright club house affording splendid views over about 5 holes. Friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Altogether, a really great day. I look forward to going back.
