IMG Academy Golf Club

Excellent overall conditions. Well maintained greens. Super nice staff (Wesley inside and starter Mike on the day we played) and facilities (including an indoor simulator). Can recommend IMG Academy Golf Course and look forward to playing there again in the near future.

Easy online reservation process. Course located in SW Manatee County adjacent to major streets. Friendly, courteous staff. Complimentary range balls available for warm up, great putting green and chipping range. Tees, fairways and greens in outstanding shape. Many of the fairways have undulations, water hazards, trees and sand bunkers. The course is a bit longer than several of the other courses I've played in Manatee County. I was able to secure a really great fee for the round less than 24 hours prior to tee time as they were quickly trying to fill in the schedule holes. I would highly recommend IMG Academy Golf Course to family and friends.

I can't remember ever having a bad experience at IMG. The course staff has kept it in impeccable shape, through some very harsh conditions throughout the years. Can't go wrong!!

The fairways and the greens were well maintained, and the signage was well placed. It was great having chipping and driving range balls provided, and the cart was clean, too!

Our only concern was with the starter who got upset with us when they twosome ahead of us, who allegedly had the same tee time as us, (and we.were not told we were to play with them) took off five minutes before our tee time, It seems he he thought we were going to be a foursome although we were not so-informed . I don’t know why he showed annoyance with us rather than going and telling them, but it was a bit bothersome. Could have just been a tough Wednesday for him. Still, we’ll come back!

Wonderful track in very good condition. The employees, especially the starter was extremely helpful and friendly. The on course ice water was an unexpected perk. The state of the art cart GPS monitors make the game more enjoyable.

The course was fantastic. Great conditions. Staff is awesome. I live very close to the course, but I've played with, literally, people from all over the world and they, absolutely, love this course. I can't say it enough. Great job, Everyone. 👏

course was in great condition, there was also good gaps in the tee times. They wouldn’t let me go onto the first hole early because I was prepaid so that was very not cool but other than that pretty decent course. Decent bunker placements but nothing super different about this course.

Course was in great shape especially the greens. Fast and smooth.

Played late morning, weekday round arriving as a twosome. We were warmly greeted and taken care of by Willem (inside) and Mike (starter). Course was virtually empty so we were paired with another twosome and (quite literally) had the course to ourselves for the entire round. Played at a leisurely pace in far less than four hours. Course was in all-around excellent condition (tee to green) with no complaints from anyone. Upon finishing we were again taken good care of by Derrick (carts) and thanked by everyone for coming. (They even gave us a tour of their new Golf Simulator!) Can recommend IMG Academy and look forward to returning in the (hopefully) near future.

IMG is in great shape right now. Tee Boxes that had issues earlier in summer have been resodded. Fairways are a touch thin in spots. Greens are pristine as usual.
