In addition to some recent work on course, the drought has crushed this course, with many fairways having large patches of no turf. Greens were in respectable shape. It will take some time for this course to come back. Like the course and layout , but these conditions were a bit shocking. Tee boxes were horrendous from whites.

There’s been very little rain here and the greens were still in good shape. Recently punched but not a problem. Fair ways were average but didn’t affect play much. Challenging layout due to bunkers.

The course is still in very good condition, considering the extreme drought situation we've been in and recent aerificaton. Well worth it. The greens were phenomenal. Kudos to the grounds crew!!!

This course was great! Very playable for all experience levels. Really can’t beat the price tag for what you get here at IMG. Greens were punched a few days prior and fairways were thatched but you could hardly notice.

Staff was helpful, tee box’s were in poor shape as well as the fairways. Hit down the middle and your second is on dirt.

Played IMG Golf course. We have played almost every course in Manatee and Sarasota plus several in Tampa Bay.

This was the second worse conditions, design and amenities. All fairways are dead, clumpy and have allot of hard dirt. The greens were aragated and still better than most of the boring course. Poorly labeled.

There was a small animal corpse on one of the tee boxes.

The golf carts were not aligned well with OOB. The cart also hesitated allot.

No amenities other than a small cooler and some snacks in the proshop.

Pace was good. Played at 3pm.

Will never go.again. not worth it.

IMG is a very good golf ciurse with a challenging layout and the prices at this tine of year are excellent. My ownly criticisms are that the pace of play on a very hot, humid day (heat index 96F) was very slow. My 3-some waited on every single shot during the entire round for the 2-some in frint of us. The local drought in Manatee county has been terrible this year and many of the fairways were being lost with few good lies to be found. The greens had been very recently sanded and aerated but they still rolled true albiet a few clicks slower than usual.. Aside from the dry conditions that can't be helped due to the drought and the pace of play IMG was still fun to play. On course amenities such as ice statiions and bathrooms were good.. Sand traps were well raked and in very good condition

Course has a cool setup and a good test. Tee boxes are pretty bare and the rough and fairways aren’t in the best shape. At the end of the day unless you’re a snob it’s a fun track to play and a great deal for the money. Would definitely suggest it to anybody that likes to get out and play different courses.

The course is normally good however they have arrested and sanded all the greens so it will be sub par for at least the next 2 weeks. There was no mention of this when booking or in the pro shop which was disappointing. The fairways are also quite patchy and bare and a lot of the time you can be hitting off soil.

I would give it a month before considering playing there again.

Course greens and fairways recently punched, so it was sandy, but knew that going in, couldn’t beat the price so worth it.

Greens were nice, rest of course is not as good a it used to be. Don’t know what happened. Collars around the greens are pretty bad. Makes it hard to chip and make clean contact. Some fairways had large bare spots. Hopefully the can get it back in shape soon.

Course is in as good as it gets for summer golf in Florida. Greens put true and most fairway shots find good grass. The greens are well protected increasing the challenge. This course gets allot of senior play as many do. From the gold tees there are several par 4’s over 400 yards that are unreachable by most. I played with a great bunch of guys that are members. Their group plays every Friday early. My only recommendation would to adjust the senior tees to allow the game to be fairly played. By that I mean on a par 4 on in two and two putt. Give the old guys a chance. The game would be more enjoyable.

Tee boxes are a mess., fraiways have alot of baldspots.
