This course never disappoints, good value for the $, conditions are always good, great practice area (range balls included) and starter was great. For sure will be back.

Great course layout but if you feel like having the weirdest discussion about carts in golf play here. A year and a half ago myself and another individual I never met were told we had to share a cart after both being issued carts individually, or the argumentative starter says its path only if we don't, course policy, whatever.

Today, I have a very different conversation after being issued a cart. They wanted me to join a member in his privately owned personal golf cart due to their "no more than 2 carts per group rule."

No thanks, maybe I'll try again in another year. Plenty of reasonable folks running golf courses at San Tan Heights or others close enough to the southeast valley to avoid paying a premium for this kind of weird treatment by Poston.

One of my favorite golf courses, drove up from Tucson to play….Very playable course and always in great condition…Got a great deal on golf now….staff members have always been welcoming and the restaurant is a good stop after the round.

The course is in great condition and a pleasure to play, but it is a lot more difficult than it looks. It’s long and all the greens are subtly elevated making it important to “think your way” through the round. Book it and enjoy!

My third time playing here, several in our group was their first time. Everyone enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Course was in very good condition, only minimal dead or patchy areas on the fairways, with a true second cut rough. Greens were in very good condition, balls were rolling true, no jumps or bad areas were noted. The course was moderately booked so pace of play was excellent, we played in a little over 3 1/2 hours. The layout was not overly difficult, but challenging enough to enjoy it. Our group played the 6066 yard combo tees and the slope was 117, just right for our skill level.

Will definitely come back and play again.

This is a quality course with quality conditions. As long as they don't make a major increase on the rates, I highly recommend.

Poston Butte is in amazing condition for this time of the summer. Fairways are in great shape and greens were smooth and rolling pretty fast. Not a patch of dead grass out there that I saw. Bunkers are pretty firm but still playable. Trust me I found my fair share. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be going back soon
