Golfer Reviews
Wonderful Course
St Margret’s is one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. Challenging and forgiving at the time. A must play in Dublin Ir
St Margaret's
One of my bucket list locations to play just outside of Dublin, Ireland and was not disappointed. I went unprepared, no clubs or balls, from the staff to the clubs, I was suited out splendidly. The course was beautiful and manicured perfectly. I will play this course again if I ever return to the Emerald Islands. A must for golf travelers. The round was 30.00 euros on GN, the clubs were 45.00 euros, and the balls bet expensive 10.00 euros for 5 balls. My total cost was 114.00 euros not including the GN prepay. lost one ball and found two, got to turn them back in for a gift.
Challenging Course, but very crowded
Very crowded course also on weekdays. Very good conditions but we waited more than we played golf.
Do not go there if you play in a flight with less thannfour players.
St Margaret’s
Course in great shape given the lack of rain. Greens were true. Good value.
Very interesting layout
Very enjoyable days golf. Staff Friendly helpful welcome. The course has some very interesting par 4 dog Legs left and right. Greens fast and in excellent condition. Brilliant par 5s. Position is key off tees but forgiving. Beautiful course overall. Pace of play little slow but still nice to catch a breather.
Nice but overrated
Pace of play was atrocious.
Noise from the airport is very annoying. It is not a peaceful golf course.
Tee boxes were average with a few very bad (holes in the ground for some of them).
Course layout is very tight. Par 3 holes are very short and not great.
Greens are lightning quick but well kept.
Fairways are well kept.
Rough well kept.
Clubhouse closed early on Saturday evening which is disappointing for a “country club”.
Overall it’s a decent parkland course but would be hesitant to recommend given the price point vs experience. 3.5 out of 5
Very enjoyable game of Golf
It had been a few years since I played St Margaret's and I was very impressed with all aspects of the course today. Tee Boxes, Fairways & Greens were excellent. A really pleasent challenge. Highly recommend a visit
Challenging but fair
Very nice parkland course. Fairways are a bit tight and the greens were well manicured and proper speed to make it a challenging round. I'll be back. 👍👍
Top class
Played this course for the 1st time having booked through golf now. The course was in fantastic condition, some brilliant feature holes.
Had food after and it was really tasty, staff were all very friendly. I will definitely play it again.
