Rossmore Golf Club

I was recently in monaghan on a holiday visiting family, I was staying local to rossmore golf club and saw it on the way in and im so glad I did. I played there on thursday and honestly cant recommend it enough!. Sean in the club house could not be any friendlier or helpful. I rented a set of clubs which was unbelievable in quality. Full set of callaway elytes and ai one putter. The course is unbelievably lay out in stunning surrounds. I was put with a 4 ball two of which were members, and I had a great round with them having the craic and them giving me some course info on all the holes. This course isnt for the feint hearted it has some really challenging holes but theyre so rewarding visually. Dont be like me and turn down a trolley as it is very very hilly. Overall the best looking course I have ever played and the course condition was immaculate. What a course and what a place. 10/10 would recommend.

My first time to visit. A lot of great golf holes. Quite hilly so I’d use a buggy next time. Fairways and greens were immaculate. I’ll be back soon. Not all holes are sign posted which is a bit confusing.

We enjoyed our day of golf however the course was very untidy with cut grass lying on the fairways and plastic bottles etc scattered around the course. Won’t be back in a hurry.

Didn’t know what to expect as I explored the course using an online golfing app, but when I played it I was pleasantly surprised, even tho the wind was blowing strong the course itself was a pleasure to play, challenging but not tight and the greens were in excellent condition. Will deffo be back during the summer months

This is a great course to play, this was my second time playing this course and its certainly worth the trip out. I did play Wednesday previous, there was sand put on the greens which made them incredibly slow but after a fall of rain it was much improved on the Sunday. On Wednesday when I was playing, I wasn't charged anything for a trolley, whoever on Sunday I was charged 40euro for a trolley which is a bit too steep considering I was only charged £30 for a golf buggy in portadown the week previous. They maybe need to look at their prices on this

Excellent course and in prime condition. First time playing here and will definitely be back. Great wee pro shop too with all you’d need for a round of golf. For the amount of rain we’ve seen over past week or so the course was in top condition. There’s quite a few hills so it’s not an easy walk.

What a lovely course. Staff and members very friendly. I think the 9th is the hardest hole. Will be definitely playing here again. Also, the food in the clubhouse isn’t bad either, the burgers are massive. Really enjoyed my day at Rossmore, it’s worth a visit.

Third time to play this course all we can say it was money well spent.

Enjoy most rounds I play here, quite a difficult course if you aren’t accurate off the tee.

Course plays pretty good in all conditions, seems to handle rain well. Some nice variation in the course playing around the main hill. Holes 6, 11, 13 and 16 are my personal favourites!

Would definitely recommend giving here a go
