Great coursen

Great course .. greens where a shade slow but to be expected .. work going on around the course but not affecting play in anyway. Some very interesting holes.

Awful for visitors

I paid £30 to play a round in Armagh and halfway through my round a man and woman walks across 2 holes to ask me why I’m here and why I’m not a member and shouldn’t be here and said they were gonna report me. How does that make sense Armagh golf club when you have visitor tee times. Then they walked of there hole back to the clubhouse as if to intimidate me. My round was ruined from there and it’s awful to experience that as a solo visitor playing. Then when I went to complain there was no one around to say anything to. What an awful experience would not recommend if your a visitor looking to play here!!

Hidden Gem

First time playing this course which always escaped me for reasons unknown. Such a well kept wee parkland course with amazing greens and strategically placed bunkers with good sand. Good condition tee boxes also. I was very pleasantly suprised with the condition of the fairways etc for the amount of rainfall recently, so much better and well drained compared to other course close by. I've also heard the clubhouse does great food so I will definitely be back considering the fantastic value for money! A little miffed at having to walk back on yourself for the next hole several times. Loved the par 3s on this course!!

Unplayable

Nice looking course but would not play again until summer months. Played in October and was completely unplayable balls getting lost in the middle of fairways. Clothes shoes and trolley were all destroyed and trolley actually sank walking down one fairway. Walked off after 9. Would avoid until the dryer months

county armagh gc

first time playing armagh, thought the greens were very good. looks like they’ve invested alot of money recently, practice area looks new, can see alot of drainage works have been completed on a couple of fairways. couple of guys let me play through on the 4th, pace of play no issue after that. any members i met all very friendly and welcoming. would play again

Great course

Course was in fantastic condition and was a pleasure to play. Wasn't overly busy as it was a Tuesday so pace of play wasn't an issue. Great clubhouse. Very much good value for money and will definitely be back.

Slow play & missing 18th

Played today, weather was perfect and the course was in great condition. I unfortunately got stuck beside 2 3 balls who were incredibly slow ( where walking onto the third green as I was teeing off, I had to wait on the 4th tee box for them to play their second shots) and they weren't keen on letting me play through alrhoigh i got through eventually as one group walked off after 9 and the other group eventuallylet me through on the 10th. The 18th hole was closed, no tees and no flag on the green. There didn't appear to be a tempt hole, no signage to indicate this and no mention of this when I booked or checked in at the pro shop which was a bit disappointing.
