About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Good Course Good Conditions
Course is in good shape and they keep it green with lots of water.Greens are receptive and fairways were soft. Nice range, nice restaurant.
Great conditions, horrible pace of play
Teed off at 3. Didn’t finish till 8:20.
The greens were rolling fast and fairways were in great condition. It made up for the terrible pace but still ridiculous.
In great shape
Course has been overseeded and is in great shape. Greens are in good shape, but not great. A bit shaggy. Overall PP have done a great job.
Good layout but had to say something
Been playing here for years and the course is designed nicely, a couple of challenging holes. However, the price to golf has doubled recently and course quality/amenities remain the same. No ball washers or water coolers on the carts or anywhere around the course. Seen a dozen cart girls come and go as well. They’ve been stacking tee times shorter and shorter. Ranger will ride around and tell you to “hurry up” when groups are walking off the green. Prepare for your round to go over 4 hours easily, regardless of how fast you can play.
Te greens were rolling very nice. The rest of the course was so so. It was very windy and tough to keep balls from rolling in the water.
Quit after 13 holes
Round started off good fairways greens in good condition, starter harped on pace of play, tee off at 9:24 no ranger quit after 13 holes after 4 hrs

I was single and joined up with some great folks. Course was in great shape. Fast greens. Beautiful course. Fair course.
Love - Hate Relationship
I love this course bout it hates me.
Fast greens, decent grass in fairways for this time of year. Got held up on pace of play, but it’s that time of year. I love this course.
