About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Golfer Reviews
This place used to be good
Not a single raked bunker, pins don’t seem to be moved on a daily basis, Starter sending off singles exactly 30 seconds after a twosome, “pro shop” is a broom closet, driving range is slanted away from the range (water) at a 45 degree angle, etc… course is borderline unplayable for the price they ask me to pay. $55 per player on a Sunday at 7:38am. I’d rather spend an extra $20 per player to go somewhere else where they try to take care of the course. They spent money on brand new, top of the line golf carts with Bluetooth speakers and virtual yardage book, but won’t pay anyone to take care of the course. Probably won’t be back for awhile. Someone let me know when they’re under new ownership… they need it desperately
Great
This was my first time playing here. I would so come back here and play again
Love it here. Home course
Been playing here a lot in the past 6 months. Definitely improved over time
Bad Shape
This course has a nice layout but it’s not being taken care off. Greens have a fungus and dead spots and on some greens they seem to have decided not to cut the entire original green and are only cutting some of it.
Good Course
It’s expensive to play in Tampa, and it’s a bit cheaper here but the course conditions will show why. Greens and Fairways are in pretty rough shape right now (end of July) However, I do like this course. It’s pretty low key and everyone has been chill. Back 9 lets you stretch out the driver. Pay attention to what you’re paying at the counter, Old Timers don’t really listen. I had a reservation through GolfNow and they just charge me flat course rates which are higher. Still my go to course! 6.1/10.0 IMO
Beginner course
If you are just beginning it’s a good course. Greens are in horrible shape. Fairways are in need of work. Pace of play was slow. Only thing saving from a 1 star is price. I would go to diamond hill at a comparable price.
Like playing in your backyard.
Course is in horrible shape. St Augustine grass taking over the fairway. Pace of play is horrible. Golfers with tank tops and t shirts. Course is going downhill. Save your money and go somewhere else.
have played here many times in the past. for whatever the reason, the course is not in the condition I remember it. the fairways are in need of water.
Needs some work
Tee boxes were a bit rough, pretty chopped up. Fairways need to be mowed and lots of dry patches. Some greens were good and some had some areas that were dirt.
This course need to be maintained better, not sure if it just got aerated and needs some time to grow. I would not be able to recommend this course at this time. I love the layout but the current condition would not bring me back to play. Hopefully this is just temporary and the course just needs to be repaired.
A little disappointed
I know we are in a drougth but the tee boxes, fairways and some greens were kinda rough. Great facility tho!!
