Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Good value
Given some other poor choices like Northdale
This course is excellent value
Good Value
This course is excellent value for the dollar.
Condition, greens & Layout ,
Singles
Greens good. Fairways fair. Lots of singles on the course. We ( a foursome ) let a few play through, but then stopped when they would not pair up. One finally skipped the 14th and made a rude comment on his way through. No starter, no Marshall.
Greens had decent speed but were soggy, fairways were in bad shape , most tee box’s are rough to. Took us 5 hours on a Saturday, ranger let a single go out for some reason on a packed Saturday as well. Layout was nice , could be a great course but needs lots of work. Won’t be back till we hear of improvement.
Great Course
My go to course . I golf here 1 to 2 times per month. The new GPS carts with Bluetooth are Super nice as well.
Good Greens
Over the years I have played this course dozens of times. The course conditions vary. Course maintenance seems to br inconsistent.
More than one tee box need some repair. Fairways are also in need of work, Lots of patchy areas, uneven growth. Bunkers looked very firm. The saving grace is that the greens were good. They rolled true Pace of play was great as we played around 1:00 and the group ahead played quickly and there was no one behind us. At under $40 it is a play. Not sure if I would pay more at this point.
Fun course
Plenty of challenges for the average golfer. Greens were very good which for me is key. Sand bunkers fantastic. Fairway and rough decent enough. Not the course to bring people your trying to show what an elitest you are, which makes this golf course even better.
Great track and better greens
Fun course. Fairways are dry. Greens are good. Starter needs to space players more or hacks need to stop hitting 3 or 4 balls off the tees and in the fairways.
Not a 4 star course
Course is in terrible shape as of nov 16. Came here because earlier reviews had good things to say but as of November the range was in poor shape (sandy dry and no good grass) tee box’s where dry and sandy and almost all the greens had crab grass and bare spots. The Staff and restaurant are the best thing about the course.
Needs a lot of work
When seeing the reviews we thought maybe a decent course. Yeah no, carts are old, range is horrible, greens and fairways are just spotty and not pure at all. The best part of our round was the restaurant after. I would go elsewhere for sure
greens are bumpy and full of weeds
In town from Michigan I wouldn’t play again if you paid me. Conditions are terrible from tee box’s to fairways to greens. Not sure why there is recent good reviews don’t be fooled
Average Course
Average course, layout was a little confusing and greens were a little unkempt but overall not a bad spot.
Needs Water
Course is poorly maintained and in desperate need of water.
Fun little track
Nice course with very little ground in repair. A little tight for my taste, but still a good challenge with very fast greens and fairways in perfect shape.
