The Club at Venetian Bay

Clubhouse was nice, staff was friendly, course conditions was horrendous. Greens were bad, thin turf, bare spots, and very bumpy. Roughs, approaches and collars were full of weeds, even encroaching the putting surfaces.

Bunkers were holding water, full of weeds and grass, and around the perimeter of the bunkers has knee high grass that you can lose your ball in.

It’s no wonder they are promoting night golf, so you can’t see how terrible the course condition is!

Over from the UK and first time at this course. Had picked it to play because of the good reviews but was left a little disappointed.

The layout of the course I did think was very good but the condition of the course was below expectations.

The bunkers were in very poor state & ought to be GUR. The greens had, I suspect been punched not long ago. ( Why don’t golf clubs put up on their websites when greens last punched, would be very helpful)

However, saying all that, we saw potential and would look to come back to give it another chance.

Average conditions. Greens punched and more of a beach than a green. Bunkers unplayable, had to take drops. Great layout but I think they’re gearing up to receive the snow birds so locals are second rate. The rate drop was the right thing to do, thanks! Would play again but only with the rate drop.

Greens were punched at the end of the week, so very sandy. The rest of the course was in fair condition. Lots of weeds and traps are not taken care of at all. Could be a good track but conditions are not great.

The guy in the club house did give us a rain check to play under better conditions. I give them major props for that.

It sucked. No warning on aeration. More sand than the beach. 9 holes closed. Sucked big time. Play somewhere else.

The coarse was is great shape. Greens were awesome. Staff is very friendly

This is a really nice course, but it has very little shade. It makes it rough on the hot muggy days.. We played on a hot muggy day with The fairways being extremely wet, so we could not go onto the fairways with the golf cart. It made play a little bit longer, but it was a great value for the money. They were aerating the front nine so we had to play the back nine twice, which isn’t all that cool. Overall. Nice course.

This i sone of my favorite courses in y area and I am always excited to play. If you like freedom off the tee box you will love this course.

The course was in pretty good shape except that it had lots of unwanted grass and weeds in the fairways. The only real probably had where there were grass cutters on the 17th and 18th fairway.

Great course conditions and the pace of play was excellent will definitely go back.
