The Florida Club

Played here for 3rd time this week. Dropped my score by 10 strokes. The starter was kind enough to let us out as a twosome at 7a. We played 18 in 2:18!! Conditions were great. On course staff very friendly. Helga in the bar was a sweetie and got me set up w a great bacon, egg and cheese burrito. Wish I could’ve played here one more time, they are aerating next week. I’ll be back.

This course is fantastic. Starting with the people, staff was excellent with a serious concern for your well being and enjoyment on a hot day. I gave the course conditions a 5 even after a 2 inch plus rain the night before was still very playable even though a few holes were cart path only. Grounds people were out pumping the bunkers and doing some excellent work.

I played this a couple gears ago and was impressed with the course. Played again and was very pleased with this course. Greens are true. Fairways as green as they can be. Setting was gorgeous with the ponds, birds and squirrels all around. Pace was great cuz a group let us through and then we had the course to ourselves. Can’t wait to play again this week!

Enjoyed playing on a very well maintained course. Nice layout, challenging holes, had a great time.

Been 22 years since I saw this course and what a treat I have to say I am not impressed easily, playing Medina Torrey Pines Whistling Straights Pinnacle Pinemeadow and many other’s on Chicago’s North Shore Glen Club Steeplechase etc etc etc as a PGA instructor not only meeting great people but free golf on courses mostly for tour stops! If you’re not impressed then you don’t know good golf design! It’s about the experience kinda like this spacing 15 minute’s apart your group should feel like your the only ones on the course ! Add a well deserved and maintained course and the experience is a treat! A relaxed atmosphere that is what is needed to play great golf! And even better is the greens not fast but will make you question your reads pace is always better than reads and you will be tested!

The course was in excellent condition. Like playing at a country club. The greens looked great just a tad slow. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the round.

The course is in great shape; fairways and greens well maintained. Pace of play was good as we finished in under 4 hours.

The course is good shape. The greens looked liked they were recently aerated and had remnants of sand. My only gripe I have is sending golfers out every 4 minutes. The entire round you wait for the golfers in front of you - not their fault.- and you have golfers in the rear too. A 4 hr round of golf should allow ~13 minutes a hole- basic math. 4 minute tee times means you have golfers on the tee, in the fairway, and on the green at the same time. Not a comfortable pace and in the heat it’s not fun

Excellent shape pace of play was slow people don’t know how to play in the heat. Need to speed it up a bit. Otherwise, great day.

This was my 3rd time playing this course and the condition of the course was as always in extremely great shape,
