About
White Horse Golf Club has one of the toughest courses in the Northwest. Situated on the Kitsap Peninsula, the course is located just five minutes south of the Kingston ferry terminal. The course sits on the Puget Sound between the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, offering panoramic views on every hole. When the Suquamish Tribe bought the club in 2010, one of their top priorities was to make the course more playable. They enlisted John Harbottle for the job, a local architect who has designed several layouts throughout the state. By taking out nearly half of the bunkers, he opened up the greens and made them more approachable. He also widened the fairways and made the landing areas more generous. Since the update, White Horse Golf Club has become one of the most popular on the peninsula.

Golfer Reviews
Beautiful and fun for many skill levels
One if the best courses in the area, with reasonable prices. I don't know why this isn't ranked in the top 15 courses in the state. I enjoyed it much more than Salish Cliffs and others nearby.
Hidden Gem
Hidden gem!, the reason I labeled extremely challenging is because the pin placements were almost unfair. Great course design and will definitely be back. Super friendly staff.
Very enjoyable day out while visiting WA
Beautiful course and part of the world. Easy to get to from Seattle vs Kingston ferry/Uber. Friendly staff, lovely conditions on the course. Perfect
Very cool track
Nice range, good price, great food, friendly staff, well maintained course, beautiful atmosphere and club house. My only complaint was I hit a hole in one on 15 and though I don’t care about recognition it would be cool to get the flag or something for it but they let me know they don’t do anything for that. Either way, great course. I think you guys should give people the flag though as a momento if they have witnesses.
Beautiful Tree Lined Golf Course
Beautiful Tree Lined Golf Course. Friendly, helpful staff. Finished in 4hrs 20 mins. Great layout! On issue were the greens were slow. I will return to play again. Highly recommend!
Nicest course in county
Booking was easy, and check-in was efficient with friendly staff. We stopped by the bar before teeing off, and the bartenders were great, friendly, attentive, and knew how to make a solid drink to start the day right.
We teed off on time, which was appreciated. The only downside was pace of play. We ended up behind a foursome that had us about 11 minutes behind by the second hole, and the delay ranged from 11 to 22 minutes throughout the round. At times it felt backed up enough that the groups behind us may have assumed we were the cause, which took away from the flow a bit.
That said, the course itself is absolutely beautiful and kept in pristine condition. The holes are challenging in a fun way, and the par 3s are no joke. It’s the kind of course that tests your game while still being very enjoyable.
Overall, it made for an excellent day on a truly beautiful course. Memories are made every visit, and we’ll absolutely be back.
