Broome Park

Course has always been a great one to play. With the prolonged dry weather, the fairways were hard and brown but still well kept

Greens were well watered and were in good condition.

Shame that tee hut at the 18th was closed at 4pm, but the bar in the Mansion was open at the end of the round.

Value for money at only £20 for the green fee after 4pm.

Well worth a twilight round.

Great course

I played because I wanted a challenging course . It was a beautiful day. I played on my own and completed the round in under 3.5hrs. Very dry course . Greens took a bit of getting used to but lovely to putt on. Tees looked tired and fairways parched. Will definitely come back again. Good value. Thoroughly enjoyed myself .

Good condition and challenging

The course was in good condition lots of challenging holes. Quite hilly which was nice, glad we had electric trolleys.

The last hole over the pond was a great finish, with the Manor House in the background.

Shame the clubhouse was closed when we finished at 5pm as it would have been nice to enjoy the setting for a while after our game.

Greens spoiled it

Fairways in very good condition, rough also decent and sensible. Unfortunately the greens were a state, bald in places and weeds growing out of them which cost a lot of shots.

Layout of the course is a challenge, a lot of dog legs and makes you work hard to get on the greens (pay attention to the pro tips).

Driving range not great, the balls are pretty rough. Finally the halfway house has very friendly staff and welcoming.

Let itself go since I last played it and was a bit gutted because I raved about the course from memory and did not get the experience I used to a few years ago

Not for the faint hearted

This was the first time I have played this course strangely as it’s only 30 mins down the road. The price point of the round would suggest an average course but this course is far from average. This course is not for the faint hearted physical and mentally, buggies or electric trolleys will take some of the strain. But as it’s set amongst the the hills of the Kent countryside this round will have you up and down hills like Jack & Jill. The course it’s self is tough for any level of golfer with sloping fairways and rough that will swallow your ball quicker than a hungry hippo. As for the greens they keep you guessing, some were solid and the ball would race across them like Usain Bolt no mater the shot played other had a little more softness to allow the ball to be controlled slightly more. This is definitely a summer course but will definitely be visiting again.

Much improved

This was on our never play again course a year ago. So much improved and glad we decided to give it another go. Quick greens and decent fairway condition

Much improved

Played here a year ago and it was awful. Greens were bald and covered in leaves and it was completely run down. We decided to give it another go as there were new people running the course and it was well worth it. Greens were as good as any for winter conditions and very quick. Fairway grass was quite long but given the time of year that’s to be expected. Bunkers were well kept with proper soft sand and the course looked fantastic… at £25 a head it was really good value for money and we will definitely play it again this year.

Only criticism was that the practice green was slow and not cut to same height as the actual greens.

Great greens for winter, fairway condition could be better

Played during late December. Greens were running well considering this period, over the round we accumulated a lot of mud on golf shoes. Fairways could have been in better condition. Playing this course for the second time, liking the layout of the course. Bunkers has a good amount of sand in them. Course was fairly empty.
