Sene Valley Golf Club

Ok its November so fairways sticky and long, greens very slow.. Leaves on the back nine led to lost balls in the semi rough and on the fairways at times. But hey, one day before lockdown, sun was shining and the views are amazing. I'll be back when the leaves have gone and Boris lets us.

Excellent day, Very friendly staff and course was in very good condition.

The staff in the pro shop are very friendly, the greens were in nice condition albeit temporary greens were being prepared so I would probably not play this course again until the spring. Lots of work seems to have been carried out in the past few years since I played here last and generally the course offered a test much greater than the scorecard would suggest. The only thing that let us down was the slow pace of play of the seniors up ahead (which can’t be helped). Very enjoyable visit and I will visit again.

Well maintained course in good condition given the dry summer we have had. Very nice welcome in the pro shop, which was very much appreciated.

Before visiting the area I tried to contact the club a month or so back requesting a tee time by email and via the contact page through the website but received no reply..

I returned to the area again this week and contacted the Pro Shop on Saturday to find out if I could play on Tuesday. I was told that the tees were reserved for a ladies competition up to 10am but any time after that would be fine. Therefore I extended my hotel booking for a further night and looked forward to playing the course.

Unfortunately on arriving at the course at 10.30am I was told the course was closed until 1pm. No apology just 'you can wait two and half hours till 1pm and we will try and get you on!' Very poor communication and customer services.

Course was in really good condition, shame the golfers weren’t!! Greens were true, tees flat and fairways foregiving

A very good course and I would return to play again the only negative in my opinion is there are a few bind drives if you play these holes again you would now what side of the marker posts you need to be on !

Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Course was a good test of golf greens especially good. Great views of the sea . We played it on a hot Sunny day would definitely be a different game when the wind blows.

Stunning course set up. I may have bee lucky but when I played the course was very quiet which was great, no one holding me up but also no one pressuring from behind. You have to think carefully about your shots because of the slops on the course but that adds to the enjoyment. Loved the course that much thinking of becoming a member!

I was very pleased to be welcomed in the pro shop on arrival to book in. Well done. The pro shop was fully aware of my visit and his briefing was first class.

The course was in very good nick and I really enjoyed the day. The 19th hole was very welcoming and the lady behind the bar was first class.

Well done to all at Sene Vally and do not let me forget the green keepers.

I will return.

Sene valley is a coarse of 2 half all kept to a high standard, the front nine is more open than the back nine, but the coarse has plenty of terrain and twist and turn to keep interested. the back nine is one of the best your find with twisting holes and terrain changes.

the greens are well kept as is the rest of the coarse,

you need take a club lest if the ground hard as the greens are quit hard.
