My first round at this course, I was very impressed with the course and the team there, I’ll be back for sure.

Maintainance ist very good, staff ist friendly and nice.

This is a great course, particularly at the reduced post 2pm rate, with a couple of runs of really nice holes and at least 6 excellent holes.

The staff are friendly and welcoming and there seems to be a good spirit among the members.

I understand it was taken over a few years ago and you can see some improvements and maintenance is taking place, which is all making the course better.

Like every course at the moment its clear its not easy to transition from 35 degrees and baked conditions to low 20s with lots of rain, but the greens are for the most part very good and the fairways and tee boxes are recovering.

Overall a great course with a nice mix of demanding and easier holes and wide and narrow fairways.

Well worth a round.

Green we’re ok certainly not championship but ok . Club house very nice / freindly staff . Course nicely laid out with good signage . All in all for the money excellent will play again here . A bit of hot food wouldn’t go a miss tho after my round with my pint

The greens were honestly so incredible and they keep getting better in the dry weather they have done a great job!!!

Course played well considering the fairways are baked hard, it's got a different order of play since I last played it so the satalight needs an update on my rangefinder. But I still like it.

Great course, really challenging, staff were lovely, some of the members not so much, auto bag man with his carpets under each arm 🙄. 5 hour round was far too long.

I’ve played here several times in the past and was looking forward to this round, however our experience was poor and we should have asked for our money back. The greens were being repaired as we played and there was so much sand that we couldn’t putt on some greens. On others the green staff pointed loosely at where the flag should be ahead of our approach shots and on some greens there was no flag to be seen.

We finished the round in 3 hours and there were few others on the course which was a plus, but were left bemused on one hole where seemingly the head green keeper told us to finish a hole asap as green staff wanted to pour more sand onto the green. This meant rushing shots into another green with no flag or indication of where the hole was. There were at least 3 or 4 temporary tee boxes which can be forgiven and one hole that was completely in development.

I’m sure that once this work completes, the course will return to a good standard, however the course should have been closed when

we played. As a minimum we should have been informed of the work going on.

Decent course, couple of the tea boxes and greens could have done with some TLC but it was an enjoyable course to play for £35 which is what we paid through golf now

Played here today and lucky to be graced with good weather

The pro shop was very sad looking, no stock apart from balls and gloves and some old hire clubs dumped in a corner

The course itself you can tell has potential to be great. The fairways were VERY long grass, but this could be down to the hideously wet weather we had this winter so leaving the grass a little longer makes sense from a longevity POV

Was hoping to get a decent lunch after the round, but they only had sausage or bacon baps on offer

Staff were very friendly

Overall a good day out

We booked this course for the first time and payed full price, only to arrive to find the back 9 was closed and we had to play 9 twice, there was no warning of this before booking and the staff didn’t seem to care. Due to having to go round twice it meant our tee time was massively delayed and we had to queue on each tee, we walked off after 14 as it became too painful waiting.

The course seemed in good condition but the layout was quite boring up and down, I might give it another try in the future

The course was in exceptional condition considering relentless rainfall over the last few weeks. Friendly welcome on arrival and friendly members on the course, especially the two fellas who gave me a lift in their buggy from the 17th tee to the fairway up a very steep slope when I was totally knackered. Some very interesting holes here and hopefully I can come back in warmer summer conditions at some point. A 90 minute drive to get here but it felt well worth it.
