Hilton Puckrup Hall

First time playing at Puckrup Hall thanks to a recommendation from chaps I met at Ravenmeadow course. Turned out I was paired up with the same guys as a 4 ball!. Very friendly and able to show me round the course. Thanks guys. The first hole is probably one of the most difficult, having to hit over large trees (or under) and then negotiating an excessive amount of bunkers to reach a green on top of a hill.

The 18th is a lovely par 3 over water and up hill with the clubhouose behind at a range of about 195yds.

Reception staff were more than helpful and the proshop is well stocked (if you like 'Under armour' stuff.

Very small and sloping practice green before the 1 st tee. The practice range is a good 5mins walk from reception though and only has 8bays with no 'tech'

My score wasn't good but now that I've seen the course I will be back next week hopefully to beat it.

Well worth the fee from Golf Now. Excellent!

We got the course mostly to ourselves, course layout is great, greens were having some maintenance but still ran well

Location and scenery is great

Little stop after 8 was good

Some hills but no overly hilly

Puckrup make constant upgrades, keeping the greens at a very good standard , the surroundings are very well presented and the staff friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend

good fair course nice mix of holes would play again

Conditions were great, interesting holes and looks like some work has gone in since I last played there… will defiantly be going back

Undulating course, well maintained, good tee boxes, fairways and greens. Plentiful and some large bunkers strategically placed to navigate. Good water hazards.

this is the first time i am writing review on golf now although i have played several times using golf now.

i booked for £81.00 for 3 players and travelled an hour to finally excited to play. as soon we were on hole no.10, it stared hailstorm, torrential rain, thunder and lightening. course was completely smashed and green became a pool.

unfortunately, play had to stop and return back but no option.

The course was in good condition, greens true and outlying areas well mowed. However, 4hrs 45 mins for a 2 ball was disappointing. Several 4 balls were very slow and would not let smaller groups through, so often faced with 3 groups on a tee. Clearly needs some form of course management to speed up pace of play - 'ready golf' needs to be more vigorously enforced.

Good challenge, event off winter tees .

Will definitely return for a summer round ☀️

The course and greens are in great for this time of year.

Great condition for end of January .

Only a few temporary tees and the greens were in excellent condition .

Really enjoyed the round and will return as its value for money

Terrible greens. Fairways sandy. Around the greens had no grass. Looks in a state of disrepair. Avoid.
