Cleeve Cloud Invitational
We’ve played our annual tournament here for over fifteen years years and seen the course change from a rural well- kept secret to its current more cared for condition. It is good to see the greens in such good condition and protected and the investment in practice nets and tee markers. Some steps into the tee boxes will hopefully be the next improvement.
Pace of play was very slow due to some society Texas- Scrambles ahead of us - not sure why they nerddd to spend so much time in deliberating who was to take the next shot? Thankfully the players behind accepted to situation and did not pressurize us in any way- thank- you.
The course itself is simply spectacular- stunning views combined with interesting and varied holes make for a superb golfing challenge…and it’s great to see it in good hands- thank-you!
Disappointing
Really poor course, in poor condition. Although the staff were great
Cleeve hill golf course
After playing here for over 30 years the greens and general condition are in fantastic condition the best I’ve seen here a credit to the staff and green keepers I tip my hat
Fantastic course. Stupendous views
Difficult first time with all the blind shots. Brilliant course with a fantastic layout. Really looking forward to going back
Beautiful Course In A Beautiful Location
First time playing this course after wanting to play it for a very long time and I was impressed. The views are amazing! The entire course is in good condition (shared by sheep so expect poo and some uneven grounds) however the greens although fenced off from sheep were quite bobbly and not running true. We sort of expected this so it didn't ruin our game. Pace of play is not the best, old boys in 4 balls not allowing people through causing back up which seems to be the case of every golf club around the area currently. We were a 2 ball and it took 5 hours to get round 18.
Overall we really enjoyed playing this course and will certainly return!
Just go play it, great experience.
We were very lucky with the weather as i can imagine it would be interesting in the wind. The course is superb, condition and playability. Loved it. Absolute bargain £32.
A must play.
Fun, testing course in amazing condition given the recent weather. 100% will play again. Friendly service and cool little clubhouse/bar and cafe area.
The best value winter golf
It always amazes me how playable Cleeve Hill is after terrible rainfall that closes so many of the surrounding courses. The greens are slow in December, but this takes little away from how fun the course plays.
