Loved it

All was brilliant, very friendly, some challenging holes and some where you need to think outside the box. Lovely day with a fair amount of wind, made things interesting too.

Really enjoyed it!

For a similar price you can play Seacroft, do that.

The links holes on this course are decent, 3 or 4 of them are good. The parkland holes on the other hand, are not. They are basically a flat field with a few trees, sparse on features or imagination.

I played Seacroft the day before and paid £55, this cost me £50. There's no reason to pay a green fee here when it's basically the same price, even if you are organising a weekend trip, play Seacroft twice.

Great little gem

Quirky course, mixture of links and parkland/heathland.

Was VERY testing in windy conditions, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Greens were good, nice speed.

Special mention to the staff across the course/hotel/pro shop, friendly, chatty and very welcoming.

Will definitely come again! (hopefully in less wind!)

Christmas Golf 29th December 2025

We played at the end of December and for that time of year the course wasn't in bad condition (one temp green, and a few mats on the par 3's) the mats were a bit spongy mind. The course has something for everyone, some shortish par 4's that could be driven by the longer hitters but are also good for the shorter hitters/new players and it also has some longer (over 400 yards) holes which were a bit more tricky, especially with out of bounds running down one side. It has a good mix of holes, so not just straight up and back, some doglegs, uphill/downhill etc. You could also see they are doing some work to improve the course which when finished will definitely improve the look and feel. The greens had recently been spiked which was a shame as this made them a bit slow and some of the bunkers could do with a bit more sand but in general it was well worth the money. It is always nice to be able to hear the sea as you play. I would play this course again.

Great visit to north shore again!!

Had a great round course was in great condition. Pace of play was quite slow considering the time of night but the pro shop pre warned me I was out behind a members bash so was expecting slightly slower pace of play but overall enjoyed the visit again and will be playing again same time next year!!

Beautiful course

The scenicviews of the course from hole to hole is second to none. Each hole has its own beautiful challenges and conditions of the course were fantastic.

Some really challenging holes to make you think but definitelyworth playing. As a high handicapped player I had my own challenges but with the layout on holes it makes even bad shots rewarding.

Overall great course. Would recommend and would definitelycome back

Good value for money

Very friendly staff and a lovely golf course. There are some blind shots so if you are playing for the first time it’s not easy to tear the course up.

I did enjoy it very much.
