About
Bartlett Hills Golf Club has been a favorite Chicagoland golf destination since it first opened in 1929. To keep the layout up to modern standards, it has undergone many changes over the years but it still has the same classic character. At 6,463 yards from the back tees, this traditional layout might not be long but it still provides a fair test. Rather than distance, the golf course demands smart play and accurate shot placement thanks to narrow, tree-lined fairways and several tricky doglegs. You might not have many chances to use your driver but you'll definitely get some iron practice. There isn't too much trouble off of the tees at Bartlett Hills G.C. But greenside you'll be faced with nearly 30 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards come into play on seven holes, which include some forced carries.

Great course
Loved this place. Was in great shape and overall has a fun layout. All I would say is beware of those greens. They are crazy fast!
Great course!
Very nice course. Well manicured and the greens were in great shape. Probably one of the better suburban public courses around.
Bartlett Hills is a solid, old-school layout that still feels like a hidden gem in the western suburbs. The rolling, wooded terrain gives it real character, and the conditioning was very good for a public course. Greens are the signature: fast, undulating. Overall, Bartlett Hills delivers a lot of golf for the money: interesting holes, genuine elevation changes, and greens that will keep you honest. Worth a visit if you’re in the Bartlett area
Fast greens
Course was in great shape. Greens are firm and fast. Best we have played on all summer.
Needs water
Rough shape. Greens were rocks nothing held and all putts rolled by 6 feet. Fringe was 4 inchesnthick right off green. Buried balls created slow play. The whole place needed water. Needs water before you lose all your teeboxes and fairways.
Nice coarse
I've always liked this coarse. The front nine started slow, because of the group in front of. I'm pretty sure they left after nine, then it was wide open. We made up the time we were behind. I did notice no ball washers. There was a beverage cart and we seen her at least 5 times, since it was 90 and sunny. All n all a good time.
Had a great time staff was very helpful and the pacing was good for a beginner like myself
