Palatine Hills Golf Course

A little wet but with all the rain lately it was in good condition.

Greens were holding nice.

Of course amenities were just average.

I will definitely be back!

The course maintenance was overall acceptable, but our experience was severely ruined by a few frustrating management issues. First, our group maintained a perfectly normal, standard pace of play throughout the round, yet the marshal kept coming over and unnecessarily rushing us. It completely broke our concentration and ruined the flow of our game. Second, while the fairways were okay, tree branches blocking sightlines directly from the tee boxes felt like meaningless obstacles rather than intentional course design or legitimate difficulty. Lastly, the green speeds were highly inconsistent across the course. Combining that with severe undulations made putting a complete guessing game and very frustrating. Overall, it was a tough and unpleasant day for our entire group.

3 foursomes of teens playing in front of us seemed to just be goofing around. No ranger came out until the last four holes. Almost a five hour round. Not normal for this course.

Well maintained and layouts are very friendly to kiddle players

Had a great time playing Palatine Hills and the course was in great condition! I always enjoy playing this track and everyone from the pro shop staff to the starter are super friendly. Highly recommend playing this course! A+++

This is a wonderful course. The ranger actually went around and checked player pace. Was a group that was holding up play. Ranger told them to play ready golf. No issues from that point on. Entire staff extremely helpful.

I have never seen a public course ranger be proactive

Great course for the value. Very well maintained and worth the play.

The shape of the course was excellent. The lack of intermediate rough and many blind shots makes it difficult for your 1st time playing the course. Greens were in good shape.

Love this course! It was wet from the rain but it’s well maintained! Great staff!

The course rip us off on cart rental rate of $23 per person...Once you get to the course you have no choice but to pay their inflated charge.
