Beechwood Golf Course

We showed up 15 minutes early and we started 10minutes before tee time so that was nice. We offered the people behind us to play through right away and they said they were not all there yet. We had a slow first hole but we still finished it right at our tee time. The people playing behind us said they want to play through on the second hole after we hit our first shot on that hole. We told them that was fine. The club house came down and said to pick up the pace. We took 10minutes on the first hole so how is that to slow. We ended up finishing 10minutes behind the people that complained and the people behind us did not have to wait at all. We finished at the 4hour mark. We thought that was rude to come up to someone that early.

Greens are very good. New tee boxes on 16 and and 18. 17th hole is flooded but trying to fix it. Everything else was good. Will be back

Have played here a few times over the past few years and every time has had slow pace of play.

The tee off time was 9:30 AM. The mowing crew followed us on the entire front and two on the back and never turned off their mowers as we putted on the greens. Cart lady delayed our pace of play with the group in front of us. Clubhouse staff was very friendly. For the value, I will avoid this course in the future.

This course has some of the best greens and a stunning maintained course!!

Course way great fo this early in the season.

Weather was great for the first 14 holes (mid 70s). then the wind shifted and pick up and the temp dropped 20 degrees,

Played Beechwood for first time and really enjoyed it, which was not hard on a beautiful fall day. Course was in great shape for so late in the year. Although we live in Michigan we will be back next year. My only complaint is that we were charged for a cart through GolfNow, but no carts were available due to the wet conditions (no refund). In any event we walked and it was fine—needed the exercise.
