Henson Creek Golf Course

Beautiful course tucked away in Oxon Hill, and we feel like we took a trip to get there every time we play. Lovely grounds, tranquil, and not crowded on the weekdays that we played. Wonderful!

Played for a long time and still love it! Great staff!

Apparently they were training several new people which caused a 30 minute delay in tee times on Saturday morning. Once we were able to start play the course was great.

Staff was friendly just slow and a lot of confusion on their parts about what was supposed to happen.

Henson Creek has become the go to for the golf group. Friendly and professional staff. Have met and played with other golfers and had a great time.

This is a great course. Cheap and cheerful not too far from home.

Course condition was great especially fairways and tee boxes. However the greens left something to be desired. Great staff and pace of play. Can’t beat the value for $22 a piece for 9 holes.

Prior to being integrated with Golf Now, this was a first come first serve basis and it worked out. Yes it may get backed up on certain days, but you always had a cart or a push cart. Now, with you having to sign up for a tee time, you would expect the pace of play to be better but it is worse. I checked in for my tee time at 1:20 and there were no carts even though I signed up for one and there were only 2 push carts available. Plus, who had a group of six playing together and they weren't playing fast. There is also no Marshall's on the course to manage the pace of play. It seems like the community has been pushed out to bring in other players who never used to come. Plus, the course is not being maintained as it was previously as they were still using winter tees on March 29th and the fairways were not great. The greens were pretty good as they normally are. This was a nice place to play even if it was first come first serve but now it has gotten worse since they have made it where you have to sign up for a tee time.
